Anyone got any info on Arda Turan from Barcelona? seen his name popping up a lot in news outlets stating he has been offered to us. I know he was highly rated when he joined Barcelona but since then not heard much about him.

very good at atletico but fell victim of the case where Barcelona come in and they jump at it, was seen as a xavi like replacement but never lived up to the billing, could still do a job at clubs but has rarely played past season and a half :) linked with most Turkish clubs understandably and has been linked previously to arsenal.

I'd struggle to see where he'd fit in to be honest with you mate, he's very much a midfielder which we seem to have a lot of, very similar to the gylfi role in that he can play out wide and through the middle. be a decent addition if he got back to atleti form but just struggle to see why we'd be interested mate.
