Still a strong side for next game. Alcaraz, stones, Ossie and vellios can come off the bench to give players rest if needed. Not all doom and gloom, Deloufeu and coleman have been great performers this season and when fit will slide well into starting line up like having 2 new signings. Chin up chaps. One things for sure is we must certainly be looking forward to the summer transfer window where we have to be busy buying players to suit our squad and if come may we are in europe an exciting year will be ahead of us.

I am almost certain Bobby will make a signing tonight that we'll be happy about. So far, Martinez has been a man of his word and honest with the fans. He said in an interview (you know, in front of all those millions of people) and selling a striker and not providing cover for Bryan or Johnny (if he goes, which looks likely) while only bringing in McGeady and Sgt. Hightower from the Police Academy films is not a strong end to the window. I'm praying for Fernando and Batshuayi, but i'd settle for a decent, but affordable untested striker like Finnbogason or Hosiner.

Lewis Holtby signs for Fulham on loan till the end of the season, so that rules that one out.
Shame, really. I know he splits opinions ('he's useless', 'he chases shadows', 'he's a top player' etc.), but I think he'd have been a good acquisition. Works hard and could establish himself as premier league quality if given a run of games to finally acclimatise himself to the league.
Serves him right as a supposed old everton fan for choosing spurs just because they offered him a bit more wages - now his career is in a tumble - when he could have joined everton and been loved by the fans as we always love players who actually support the club
Tough luck I hope Fulham go down - their away support is shocking -.like about 200 fans each time they come up to goodison

All's I can do here is SIGH. Why are some of our fans so blinkered? I'll use an analogy to simplify it. You're going to town with £500 in your pocket for some new clobber to go out on a mad weekender, you get there and see absolutely nothing you like, do you just buy something for the sake of it or do you keep your money and use clobber you already have? Spending money for spendings sake is ok if you're man rubbishty or a rent boy but we have to watch what we're spending out the paypacket every week. And it's a lot more serious than a pair of Armani jeans and a paul and shark top (i may be showing my age there, was going to say a tachinni tracky or fila boots ;). )
