Apparently we've taken out a £20m Loan against next year's TV Money.
8 - 9% interest.

Apparantly to pay off an existing loan. Looking at the information watchtoffee has put out today a whole can of worms are about to be opened. I think deadline day signings could now be the least of our concerns.

@Lance Link. why are you always so obsessed with these financial dealings? loans taken, 'missing' funds from years ago etc. Businesses from time to time need to free up money, and with guaranteed income coming in, why not tap into it a year early. It doesn't harm the club to do this, and i'm sure whatever the reason is, it makes sense. It seems to me that you're full of negativity about my beloved Everton and quite frankly you're the kind of fan we could do without. I bet you're itching to start some campaign or go on a demo to criticise us, and it just makes us look like a laughing stock (ie the 20 something fans staging a protest a couple of weeks ago, whittled down to just 7 fans after a smattering of rain) If this is the best a splinter group can muster up then get a grip and realise you're not the voice of the fans, just a pain in the ass.

If that's true we should have sold Stones and reinvested £20m. Unless the loan is purely to replace an existing one at a higher apr that we're comfortable paying for, borrowing against future earnings is dangerous. Look at Leeds.

JG Investments.leads to a couple of Irish directors (which is a cover via the I.O.M) which leads to our 20m Loan being signed off at a BMW showroom in Sligo which leads to Karen Brady WHUFC which leads to a company owned by Philip Greens wife Tina .
Basically someone else has control of our Club.
As always, follow the money!!

All it is is that green is at the top of the chain and takes most of the profit. Because he takes the profit we have to loan of him because we have exhausted all possibilities with banks. He than takes the interest and leaves us with no option but to keep going round in the same circle.
All done by having different company names all owned by green using people as puppets to run them under his rule.
None if this is new information, just never been put into the media before. its basically trying to dig yourself out of a hole.
We are already loaning money based on cash from tv deals in 2016/2017.
My apologies if this explanation isn't 100% accurate but this is how the situation got explained to me

{Ed025's Note - i have to agree speke, the stance on john stones took a lot of pressure off the club, and although great has somewhat deflected the problem that we have which is lack of quality, our actual best team is quite strong (if it ever got played) but any injuries or suspensions will hit us really hard as the overall squad has a lot of weak points mate..

Disappointed with linked players? We've been linked with lots of players mate. Just under a hundred this window, were you disappointed with each and every one. I don't get excited by paper links to players as they are rubbish just like when they try to sell our players. Can't say they chat rubbish then say they are reliable sources when they link players TO us. With Yarmolenko I was disappointed as he was the only one with solid interest.

Same reports who said he was on the brink of signing for Dortmund yesterday, Arsenal the day before, Barca the day before that and so on. We should wait until they're posing with the kit before getting annoyed at the board, especially considering that Liverpool are just the blank scrabble piece when it comes to transfers; got a player to link with someone but no team, use Liverpool!

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any interest from Everton in John Obi. about the extent of our ambition. No surprises today or tomorrow when obviously we need strenghtening. Season before last we played with a striker fed by Delboy and Pienaar (Mirallas) result being he ran riot in opposition defences. Last season we paid 28 million for him and promptly abandoned playing with wide men result he played with his back to goal. This season we have brought back Delboy and the couple of times he came on, he terrified defences and Lukaku played like the man of two seasons ago. It is obvious to everyone but those it should be obvious to.

31 Aug 2015 18:15:38
To be fair, I've seen Collins put in some brilliant displays against us. Would take him as a back up, although that points towards Browning becoming the next Duffy: Does well enough whenever he's given his ridiculously rare chance, but never allowed to breakthrough before being sold very cheaply.

Not too sure just which way it works, but the Transfer Deadline in Germany & in some other European countries expires at 7-15pm tonight.so we may have to do some business this evening. still think Yarmolenko is on the radar?? We should go out & spend around £30/40m on an attacking midfielder & a quality goalscorer. but will we?
Believable0
Unbelievable0
{Ed025's Note - thats a NO gv..
31 Aug 2015 14:40:30
Even if the other countries windows are shut we can still sign players from them up until ours shuts at 18:00 tomorrow, wouldn't mind seeing us signing someone decent for decent money! Just hope the cash being saved may actually be for this stadium! Will find out in October I suppose
Agree1
Disagree0
31 Aug 2015 15:30:13
How does that work? Surely if their window is shut it is shut? Also if we can still buy players tomorrow but the rest of Europe can't let's see for any deals involving our targets and their clubs, eg if Dortmund sign a winger then that dude is probably leaving. If Kiev sign a 10 then yarmelenko is probably leaving etc.
Agree0
Disagree0
{Ed002's Note - The window for buying and registering players varies between countries. Everton can still buy tomorrow from countries where the window is shut but cannot sell to clubs in those countries. Everton can still sell to countries where the window is still open.}

So there's a day left to this window and its gone quiet.I just can't understand why RM would said back in May that he wanted his business done early and yet here we are with one day too go we have Gerry, Clev and 2 S.Americans who we know very little about to show for it.Its embarrasing to say the least. As evertonians we are forever the optimists but I get the feeling tomorow will pass with no decent incomings. If that is the case then even a mid-table finish could be a struggle.

31 Aug 2015 18:19:00
Completely agree. Even if there aren't many places in the squad that needed strengthening too much, we needed a big name signing to boost morale, but instead we've gone for a player who (deservedly or not) has a reputation for being one of the worst CM's in England and a young winger who I get the impression Lukaku (along with other players) absolutely hates because he's so greedy. We've taken an average side, failed to improve it and battered the already apalling morale. Top 10 is beyond ambitious.

I can't be bothered to copy and paste his surname, but the dortmund & polish winger. Jakub Blaszkowski (close) is on his way to Fiorentina I believe. so its not him.
Dortmund showed serious interest in Yarmolenko as his replacement, offering 20m Euros upfront. however I believe they have changed their target and are now looking at Janujaz.
All the players mentioned, are strongly linked with EFC, dortmund could hold the key to our signing.
I hope we get a pleasant surprise and I'm optimistic we will. just passing on what I know.

Charming Ed. Who dictates transfer windows? Leagues or Uefa or FIFA? Surely if it's leagues then the rule is useless as these days most transfers happen between different countries leagues. If it is FIFA it seems strange as they have no power over the premier league in any other way.
I was asking a question not in ignorance but to create discussion on this site. Why would a league stick to transfer windows if they can buy from other leagues that enforce them.
But i. Found your comment rude and disrespectful will use one of the countless other sites from now on.

. the Dinamo Kiev chairman 'Surkis' has been spouting off this morning that if Everton had come in earlier for Yarmalenko he would of sold him to us.app. we only entered negotiations 5 days ago & it gives them little chance to get in a suitable replacement.he goes on to say that he was happy with everything - the price was agreed & all the details. unbelievable, we are we always p"""""sing about so late in the window, it would seem from the horses mouth if we had gone for him earlier in the summer we could of got our man!!
