When was the last time we left godson and said arteta was brilliant today. All you hear is groans over his corners and free kicks. Last 2 games he has been slow and was pulling out of tackles. Yeah good luck, was once my face player, but Tara and let's move on. It's our club and we all obviously love it. Yeah were disappointed, we move on as one don't let a player at the end of his career get you down.

Basically, Everton rejected the initial advance, the deal was dead, and Arteta himself has seemingly instigated this move with his agent. I don't know why Everton don't enforce the contract and say it's simply too late, but this now seems likely.

If this comes off, there's going to be a lot of devastated Blues all around the world in an hour or so. And potentially a lot of returned season tickets.

No there wont, we expected it and its something we have, until something happens at board level, too except.

Strong rumour is that reason for Arteta being allowed to go is that a certain Landon Donovan is on a flight over to join on a free. Also 2nd striker and midfielder unsure at the momment who are also en route.
