Just heard a rumour stating this as the team for today I was very surprised to hear it and I don't think it will be the team but anyway:
Howard
Jagielka Heitinga Distin
Coleman Osman Gibson Baines
Mirallas
Jelavic Anichebe

This came from my uncle over in Spain he usually gets the team right although I don't know how he found this out

Seems that rumour is making the rounds this morning, have heard it as well.

To be honest, would love to see this side given a go, in Coleman and Baines we have two of the most attacking fullbacks in the league, so might as well utilise that, especially against Stoke at Goodison.

Well I think this team has a bit more height and can therefore combat Stokes threat.
Just looked at tv and indeed this is the team.
Degsypulford

Your uncle was spot on we need you to ask your uncle to find out what else is happening in the club joe

Agree0 Disagree0

Does he have any idea what the team will be on the first day of next season Joe?

Hi ed had a few comments with you few weeks ago regarding jelavic and wether or not everton would sell him in the summer or not. since then he scored against city okay it was when city were pushing for equaliser but still scored and counts and by all accounts he played really well against stoke today and was unlucky not to score. I really think he will be missed by everton if they were to let him go because with fellani looking likely to go to chelsea I think jelavic is needed he can give you everything he can hold the ball up he can run in behind if you need him to and he is good in the air. I think get this season over with and give him a good rest and he will be back with a bang next season trust me.

jamesy boy

lifelong gers and toffees fan. {Ed025's Note - i think your right jamesy, he has been in a bit of a rut, but the cream always rises to the surface mate, and i expect him to be back to his best net season..

Everton have been dealt a blow after news that Fiorentina midfielder Ljajic is set for contract talks, not heard much of this player is he any good?

Rich84 {Ed025's Note - hes very good richie..would be a cracking buy mate.

Isn't he the one who got smacked in the head by his coach?

I recall we were linked to him a while back, but nothing since.

I agree with Ed025, he's a really good player, but his temperament is very suspect. I saw him play against Juve when Fiorentina were getting hammered. He threw his dummy out & got himself sent off for a stupid challenge. Don't know if that's Moysie's type of player!

rumour from a steward at everton is two offers on the table for moyes, from borussia dortmund and schalke

Believable8 Unbelievable15

Does this steward drive a black taxi on the side by any chance?

Agree0 Disagree0

I was waiting for DM's agent to show his hand :)

Borrosia Dortmund indeed next week Barca wait and see hee hee hee :))))

Blue247 {Ed002's Note - Schalke is correct. He is one of the two people they are interested in now.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed02: I never doubted Schalke however where is the proof of the Dortmund interest?

When you find it let me know please, post haste :)

Blue247 {Ed002's Note - There is no interest from Dortmund. Right now there are three options that I see for Moyes. A one year rolling contract at Everton or Schalke 04, or a year off.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed02: The first 2 options sound like a plan, the 3rd however, well I'd worry for him on that one. He's not Pep Guardiola and as some pundits and journos have said this could severely jeopardize his coaching career with the possibility of fading into the football wilderness ala Alan Curbishley.

Blue247 {Ed002's Note - I actually think it might be ideal and he could perhaps do some preparation for his new job.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would he not commit to Everton beyond a 1 year rolling contract Ed002? If he gets these alleged assurances that he is seeking, such as transfer funds and whatever else he wants then surely he would sign long-term. He says he wants to make sure Everton and its supporters see a promising, fresh-looking team for the next seasons to come. Is that not indicative of a man who would stay providing he has funds at his disposal. {Ed002's Note - I would think other options beckon for him.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Right, thanks for taking the time to reply Ed002. Personally, I hope he goes.
Ted {Ed002's Note - He will either this summer or next. Get used to Roberto Martinez.}
