If, as has been widely reported, Ross has said he will not sign a new contract, if Martinez remains as manager, then it may be the bigest contribution he has ever maid to secure a brighter future for the whole club.

{Ed025's Note - the media are great at stirring up trouble at clubs JCW, i would take what you read with a pinch of salt mate..

If the club was seriously considering the future of Martinez they would not have allowed such an in depth interview to have taken place, especially the way he answered some questions which clearly indicated he was planning for the future, discussing the summer transfer window etc. He will be there opening day of next season I'm certain of it.

Have just seen the line-up, I would say from that, that Mr Martinez has already been told he is finished. I emphasis it is just a guess but it is based on Roberto's statement recently that Niase is not ready and would not be ready until next season, yet here he is in the side.

{Ed002's Note - Interesting, so you think the manager is sending secret messages to teh fans via his choice of players for the team?}

Why would the board tell Martinez he is going and then let him pick, in most supporters eyes, a week team. Niasse wasn't ready but now looks like he is. Martinez sees him training not us. God it was only a week or so back that people were complaining that he wasn't playing, now there's complaints because he is. it's getting beyond belief now.

Lad was incredibly poor today too, by all accounts.

Naisse did ok considering his fitness levels. first touch was better than lukaku but did remind me of a headless chicken at times. suppose the next 3 games he has to put strong sides out for relegation and champions reasons.

I heard a horrible rumour today .

AVB is being seriously considered.

We must do better than him. If that's our choice then maybe we don't have the money Moshri says he has.

I know, God help us if we get a proven league title winner hey. No hope left for us.
What a daft comment.

I see Molly he had loads to spend at Chelsea guess shat sacked after a season. Loads of money at Spurs guess what didn't last a season.
Do he win the league with Porto after Mourinho being in charge. It's like putting Walter smith in charge of Everton after rangers it means nothing if they've won leagues out if a two team league. We would be better keeping Bobby then AVB .

We need bilic or korman!

Sorry man, I didn't mean to be a personal dig at your comment so apologies. He won the league with Zenit as well mate so he's won two leagues which is more than good enough for me. Think he tried to change too much hat Chelsea getting rid of the "old guard" so to speak, I just think he would be a good choice. Personal preference though as always, he could come and he awful. I think people are wishing upon stars for Mourinho or Pellegrini so I was trying to be a bit realistic I suppose.

Neither Bilic nor Koeman will come to Everton. Id like either, but nah, won't happen.

Also when at Spurs he took them to their highest points tally ever in the Premier League. Levy is notoriously hard to work for.

Classification for the OP as a lot of people do seem to be confused about it. WE don't and will never have the money Moshiri says HE has. WE don't have ANY of HIS money. He has many businesses, probably none of which have access to HIS money. Buying shares in a business doesn't oblige him to give the business any of HIS money. He may decide to INVEST (not give) some of his money in the club by buying assets (players) or building infrastructure (e. g. a stadium) in an attempt to increase over time the value of the business he now part-owns. That would mean his shares are worth more money, with all of that increase in share value belonging to him, not the club.
