I definitely dont see Banega coming in, has excelled at Valencia since we have been linked and is far and beyongd out of our price range, and I dont think we need him, we already have Rodwell and Fellaini in the midfield partnership and for me, that is already a quality partnership now and for the future.

Luuk De Jong would be a top class signing imo especially for 5/6mil, he has the physical attributes to lead the line for us and is only 21 and has been on fire this season for Twente

As for McGeady would rather straight cash for Billy, heard that mega rich Anzhi side are interested in Billy so hopefully they can add a few mil for laughs ;) and then use that money on Holtby (who I think is class)

That would be a brilliant January transfer window for me, getting Donovan, Holtby, De Jong and maybe Djalo (why not especially as he is dirt cheap, maybe even free) and simply getting rid of squad players.

Please god not mcgeady he is complete pish at best

just face it we havent got the 2m from vaughan, the 2.5m from yakubu and the 3m from beckford. but we have got the money from arteta so with the 10m we have the midfield sorted so the money should either go towards a RB or if coleman is gonna play there we should by an RM or a ST because saha has lost his form and vellious cant do it on his own. we should buy klasnic from bolton and sell billy

Johnny and Billy worth more than £5 mill each if we sold both I would expect £16mill we got £2 for Vaughan and £4 for beckford ! £16 mill and whatever bill will hand over could make jan very nice !

I dont think we will get £16m mate, think you are being very optamistic. I do believe £5m each is about right for them pair as they have done f@ck all for us

Why do people still think the Vaughan and Beckford money is available? That went straight to the bank! As it did a large chunk of the Arteta money. Realistically, I suspect there will only be enough for a couple of loan signings in Jan. One of those is likely to be Donovan. I'd love to see Defoe at Goodison, who speculated on Talksport yesterday that he will likely need a loan move to secure a place in the England squad.

We will be lucky to get £5m despite 85p in every pound being spent on the team. Not holding my breath for a top level striker. More than likely it'll be a cheap alternative like Maynard from Bristol whose out of contract in summer and will take a knock down price in Jan rather than lose for nothing at end of season. Although I really do hope I am wrong and we are taken over by then.
