Just announced that Ash has joined Stoke on loan. I hope it works out for him there because unfortunately it didn’t here. Hopefully this means a CB is on the way because we desperately need one.

worked out well first season, but last year he was a joke and totally unprofessional, tried to fight everyone as things didn't go his way and his last game with us he got sent off on purpose as burnley were turning him inside out, good riddance ash you're a joke.

Unfortunately at his age your legs can go, and his went big time.
Couldn't use his pace to get him out of trouble.

With Ash and Davy now gone the battles for 88th minute substitute and unused substitute have now been thrown wide open.
Davy really made the unused substitute position his own one of the best since Alec Cleland.

Hi Ed / James 21345, Ed I know you answered yes to James question but to further query / clarify . we can sign him but he would NOT be able to play would he? . My understanding was that the registration also closes on the 9th?

We are being linked with Toulouse centre-back Christopher Jullien (along with Southampton and Newcastle) . I can't say I've ever heard of him myself. All it said is he is 6ft 5, 25 years old and French. Could be a defensive replacement for Ashley Williams maybe or just a load of old nonsense!

I didn't expect him to report back for preseason if I'm honest. I thought he would have found another club before now. It's a loan rather than a permanent deal I think I read earlier. A lot of fans want him gone anyway.

I've said from the start that Vlasic isn't good enough for Prem football.
I am made up Silva has shown his steel.
Hopefully all 4 will be bombed out asap.
Buying a player on the whim of 1 good game, playing as an opponent, and 10 million quid was lunacy.
A desperate move that only highlighted how far away we were.
Again the champions of mediocrity and fairness will be up in arms about a player that's simply not good enough. Because he's a nice guy who hasn't rocked the boat. Just like someone claimed the other day, "I'd keep my mouth shut if I was on 100k a week" precisely! They've not rocked the boat for exactly this reason. Get these charlatans out!

Liked the look of Vlasic at the start of last season, good close control etc. Always thought the issue was that he could beat a man but could never get away from them. So by the time he's decided what to do with the ball/ space, they're back in position.
Doubtful, but maybe a loan to hone his craft?

I hear we are also looking at the lad from Rennes James Lea Siliki not sure if any truth in it and I missed the match but heard he tore us apart.

I’d like to see Vlasic go on loan to a Championship club so we can see how good he is. I’m sure several clubs would bite our hands off. Agreed - good to see Brsnds/ Silva making positive steps to untie the squad and move forwards. Need a couple more young, hungry, talented additions to the squad. Would love it if we could persuade N’Zonzi - season changer if we can pull it off.
