Just like everyone, would love to keep lukaku, and, at this time, it does seem a long shot, however, some people might not be in the know as much as they think they are, there are discussions, on going, re the clubs ownership, and If they have a good outcome, it's a game changer, for keeping Baines, barkley, and yes, Lukaku might be possible.
I posted about this takeover talks last week a mate told me we would be bought out by January an have lots of cash to spend but I believe that redbull are going to buy west ham and Everton will miss out again
What do you mean keep lukaku? I think you're getting the words keep and buy mixed up, and it doesn't matter having the money to buy him, he won't be signing for Everton end of story
End of the day, I don't think any if us including Ed ( although he does know a lot ) know 100% what's going to happen, we are all allowed to have our own opinions but for thinking we are all in the know is just bull! And no! Not red bull ha

Says who
There's no way we'll buy Lukaku. If he has a good season others will be interested who can both outbid us and pay larger wages and only then if he were to be made available by chelski. Enjoy him whilst he's here and hope we steal his heart and he demands a move,, the latter of which isn't going to happen, unfortunately.
You're almost certainly right, but as the original poster pointed out, if Red Bull do takeover (and by all accounts there is legitimate interest), that would be an absolute game changer.
Well said Rich84.
I have heard that we have an option on Lukaku for £14M at the end of the loan period. it's a must buy, out jelavic, heitinga and Gueye in january and raise £10M towards the fee. even better exercise the option in january {Ed002's Note - There is no option to buy Lukaku.}
