Jermaine Defoe has pleaded with Tottenham manager Harry Rednapp to let him join Everton on loan, to help him revitalise his England career at euro 2012 {Ed025's Note - i really hope so...but think...not.

Believable22 Unbelievable14

Would be a perfect loan pickup in January, although think 'Arry might be a bit hesistant because Defoe would be called upon if Adebayor gets injured.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah, he's pleaded to get a loan deal but its not directly with Everton. A few teams are after him, I just hope he comes to us :-)

Neil.

Heard Villareal have put a 15-25m price tag on Borja valero which would shorly put us out of the bidding war with Tottenham

Believable5 Unbelievable10

Not surprised that 'Arry and his Spuds are involved.

Agree0 Disagree0

To be fair £15-25 quid would put us out the running lol. Cheeks

Claudio Pizarro from werder bremen is always quality and looks like he knows where the net is, we have been linked with him and i think he would be a realistic signing for january

I was recently on a night out in town when i met tim howard. He let slip that at least 4 signings will be brought in in january. Even tho he believes that at least 2 of those will be loan deals.

Believable8 Unbelievable14

Keep hearing were still watching the lad
Butterfield at Barnsley along with 2/3
other premiership clubs plus Southampton

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha, this is so BS. I mean since when do players know what is happening transfer wise? What did Moyes have a team meeting and said "Listen we are getting 4 players in, 2 probably in on loan"?

Agree0 Disagree0

You can't BS a BS'er

Ok, I know i've posted something like this already, but maybe this will be more appealing to everyone:
If Bolton,Wigan and Blackburn get relegated we should go for:
Hugo Rodallega (Would be good, possibility of other teams interested)
Scott Dann (Were after him last season, might not move so soon but might want to stay in the Prem)
David Hoillet (Good young player, would play well on the right wing for us)
James McCarthy (Very good young midfielder, creative, alot of other clubs could be interested though and could cost alot)
Victor Moses (Very fast, would play on right wing for us and be good addition to the team)
Christopher Samba (Very good centre back but would cost alot and other teams would definetly be interested but worth a try)
Gary Cahill (Same as Samba, would be very good signing but big teams like Man Utd and Man City interested but would be worth a try)
Martin Olsson (Could be good cover for Baines, shouldn't cost too much)

If Wolves get relegated we should go for:
Kevin Doyle (Good striker with brilliant work rate, scores a good few goals too)
Matt Jarvis (Good player, would play right wing and would be a very good signing)

Another player we could go for is Kevin Nolan at West Ham. Very good player and can perform in the Prem.

And this is in the belief that these clubs will have to sell fairly cheaply because of being relegation, as alot of clubs have had to do. Which of those players would ye personally like to see us atleast put in a bid for?

Believable2 Unbelievable23

Gary Cahill is out of contract in the summer, it is very likely he will be sold in January rather than lose him in the summer for nothing, likely to still have a fee to great for our bank balance... plus we wouldn't waste the little money we have on a CB in the January window

Agree0 Disagree0

Kevin Nolan, are you kidding horrible red shyte supporter and no better than what we have already.

Kevin Doyle great work rate but so has a headless chicken, scores less goals than Saha.

Chris Samba has been touted at $8 million, thats him gone.

Gary Cahill going to Man Utd in January

Others, are they better than what we have already.....no

Agree0 Disagree0

Love the idea of moses at goodison

Agree0 Disagree0

Who would ye want us to bid for then lads? I'm just making suggestions. Alot of those players score goals and are very creative players who could fill Arteta's position.

Breeno

Agree0 Disagree0

Would take Hoillet in a heartbeat, think that lad is going to be a top player in the future. Has everything you need for a winger in this division. Thought of him and Drenthe terrorising fullbacks is an intriguing prospoect. Also coming out of contract in the summer, so will be cheaper than what he is worth, would love to see him in the blue of Everton (Although dont think it will happen)

Also take McCarthy and Moses, both fine young players that could help us in the future.

Agree0 Disagree0

Milan wouldn't come as he and Victor don't see eye to eye

Agree0 Disagree0

What if we get relegated !!?? {Ed025's Note - not an option!..

Agree0 Disagree0

Isn't Garr Cahill leaving in January?

Steve EFC

"Who would ye want us to bid for then lads?"

Well, personnally I'd say maynard (out of contract at the end of the season), Vossen (around 6M, and Genk not playing well actually so he could want to leave), or odemwingie. That's for the striker we desperately need. And if we can, maybe try for one of holtby, banega or kranjcar on loan. (And rasmus elm this summer, but i dream)

We should try and sign Borja Valero(8-12mil), McGeady(swap with Bily), and Defoe(Loan) :
Howard.
Neville, Distin, Jagielka, Baines.
McGeady, Felliani, Rodwell, Drenthe.
Cahill.
Defoe.

Believable1 Unbelievable14

I see 2 problems with that
1) After spending 8-12 million on Borja Valero you wouldn't start him
2) Where the f**k do we get 8-12 million!?!

Agree0 Disagree0

Interesting how you say , sign valero but omit him from your team selection

Liverpool are looking to steal Royston Drenthe from under the noses of Everton this Summer

Believable8 Unbelievable24

Don't believe it..don't believe he would even go coz from what I read he is getting on amazingly with bains and cahill along with others and he is so greatfull to moyes for giving him this opportunity to revive is career..I expect him to sign for at least 3 years..where is ur info come from? Is it hear say or paper talk?

Agree0 Disagree0

Also I think most of the players will follow suit in signing new deals, something is happening with the club for felli to sign.I havnt a clue what but something mist be..

Westy...

Agree0 Disagree0

Poor journalism, we have first refusal... {Ed001's Note - very poor, Liverpool haven't looked at him since he joined Real Madrid, highly unlikely they will be interested now.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Not to mention that the article that the rumour came from thinks we cant afford him and that the prive for him in the summer is 2.5mil, when he is actually out of contract at the end of summer. Just lazy journalism, complete BS

Agree0 Disagree0

Just his agent tryin to get the ball rolling

Hi all I walked down to finch farm today and forgot everton was training away as I got there a taxi came out with some Indian guy in the back but am sure if it was someone interested in buying us we would have someone taking him to and from.

Believable4 Unbelievable21

Probably delivering three tikka masalas for the staff

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you sure he wasn't driving?

Agree0 Disagree0

BS... why do people love to post garbage?

Agree0 Disagree0

Its funny that I seen a big yellow taxi pull up outside Goodison Park the other day, it had a big american flag in the back window. with big letters on the side saying consortium. but i dont know if it was anything about a takeover

Agree0 Disagree0

Elvis was the driver

I think he's the cleaner
