Adam Johnson will be confirmed this week on season long loan. Mouse wants him in place to make debut against Blackpool.
Hope this is true.. will this leave him for only one year left on his contract next year so we can get him on the cheap?:D

i can not see Baines moving till next summer when chance are we will lose Moyes who is delaying on his own contract where he would be renewing it and letting Everton get compo when he leaves.

Actually Hanley is a real propect. He'd be a great signing for us if the fee is reasonable. I'm an Everton fan but did a lot of work at Ewood Park last season so saw Hanley play a lot and he's got loads of potential. Lets not forget, Heitinga was class the second half of last season but he really hadn't done much for us before that (to be fair to Heitinga though, Moyes did continue to play him out of position in midfield before then). Don't believe the Turks will follow through with the transfer anyhow. Would be happy to see Hanley come in anyhow as we need some more competition at the back and he's one of the best young defensive prospects around. Would work well with Duffy in the future.

Hearing bad news all round here
Heitinga on his way to Inter Milan and Everton looking at Kenwyne Jones as a back up striker for 2 million.
Personally I would like Moyes to have a look at Benayoun now that Tiny has gone, as we will be pushing Fellaini into Cahill role. I know many people will state we have Rodwell, Barkley, I just think his experience would be huge.

What happens when Jelavic is injured, Vellios isnt good enough and needs a season on loan. Naismith is coming back from serious injury ( twice).
That means we use Victor, we need a second striker, we dont have big money.
I agree Barkley and Rodwell should get more of a role this season but I cannot see either playing 30 to 35 games this season

Didnt state that Osman and Gibson were forgotten. Its a squad game, our squad hasnt enough depth with experience.
Fellaini will play in the Cahill role, Gibbo plus either Rodwell/Barkley/Osman alongside him in the middle.
Would you prefer Neville or Johnny in this role......no I didnt think so.
WHY... Having paid £6m for Johnny Heitenga, brought him on, cemented his place in Dutch team (World Cup) finalist and still in his 20's and a first team regular at Everton, would we accept less than what we paid for him?
