Hi Ed025 have you seen the latest news on Everton in the Sunday papers today mate, this could have a massive effect on us for next season if correct,1st Bill will either stand down as his tenure as Chairman comes to an end in Aug, or take a substantially less of a roll,2nd Elstone to leave as CEO shortly,3rdBig Sam to be relieved of his duties with Fonesca to take the reins,4thRonney to be sold with him either going in a big move to the MLS or China,5th Walsh to leave to pave the way for Marcel Blands to take over as DOFwho is believed to have agreed a deall to come to us, apparently Mr Moshiri wants a better return on his investment with E F C if this is all true this could be the season we have been waiting for mate, I can't wait fingers x cheers.

{Ed025's Note - amen to all of that GB, i just hope that blue bill gets the credit he deserves and is rewarded by a stand named after him at the new stadium mate..

29 Apr 2018 09:28:44
Brilliant, been saying it for years, Ken & Co have to go, he is well known as Billy Liar.

Agree15 Disagree17

{Ed025's Note - i think thats a bit harsh stig..

29 Apr 2018 09:40:36
The only thing I would name after fat bill would be the WC.

Agree13 Disagree16

{Ed025's Note - very very harsh..

29 Apr 2018 09:47:07

I hope bill doesn't leave completely life time president or some other made up job just to keep him around would be nice.

Agree15 Disagree9

{Ed025's Note - that works for me johny..

29 Apr 2018 10:05:59
Fingers crossed that that is all true GB will be an interesting summer and I will definitely be looking forward to next season as at the moment my enthusiasm is dwindling with Sam at the reigns.

Agree12 Disagree0

29 Apr 2018 10:11:10
that's good johny this guy has been a legend so much to thank him for, a stand as Ed says would be a fitting tribute to the man in our New Stadium.

Truly baffles me some of the stick that Kenwright gets. Granted we have not been successful under his ownership and perhaps he could have handled certain situations differently, but it doesn't detract from the fact that he bleeds blue. Without him the club wouldn't have been stabalised and we'd more than likely be a yo-yo club like Newcastle right now. He's only ever had the clubs best interests at heart and has now realised it's his time to back down so the club can be taken to new levels by Moshiri. The man is due a lot more credit than he recieves and I for one applaud what he's done for us.

Agree14 Disagree11

{Ed025's Note - im with you bitter, i think people forget the days of agent johnson and bill coming to the rescue, they are like kids who want the most expensive trainers even when they know their mum cant afford them, bill is not a rich sugar daddy who could throw money left right a centre at the club but he has done his best and i think fans should show more respect mate..

29 Apr 2018 10:40:49
Sullivan, gold, gillet hicks, Lerner, Ellis short, Mike Ashley.

Still think Bill was a bad owner. The above are the epitome of bad owners, let's appreciate what Bill has done for us.

Agree11 Disagree2

{Ed025's Note - well said smit..

29 Apr 2018 10:49:21
what Bill has done for us? o yes the arteta money lol.

Agree14 Disagree6

{Ed025's Note - yeah stig he stuffed it all in his pockets, after all it does not take much money to run a football club mate..

29 Apr 2018 11:09:01
I will never forget what Bill did for us and he will always be a hero of mine at the end of the day he has done more than we will ever know.

Agree11 Disagree11

{Ed025's Note - you said it bluey..

29 Apr 2018 11:13:31
I wish these BK haters would just stfu and gtfu. As Ed says he saved us after Agent Johnson. He steadied the ship, and, instead of selling to the first Big Time Charlie who came along, he bided his time until the right man was found. I also agree with Smit. When you look at who we could have had in charge I'm glad we had Bill.

Agree9 Disagree9

{Ed025's Note - i just dont get the abuse bigH, maybe the blue union will target moshiri now and ambush him in the car park for trying to help this club..

29 Apr 2018 11:48:28
Bill has been brilliant for us. Sometimes he let his heart rule his head. Coming from a rugby mad town
I can tell you that Elstone is coming as Chief Executive of the rfl The clubs Chairmen have voted him in.

I am sorry to all are bill lovers, but we all have an opium, you just love the actor, if you knew him or ever met the real Bill you would be same as me, Ed he is not your dad is he? lol, never forget, we not seen him for months, bad rummers going around, then he turned up at the game and then a plane flew over the ground, we love you fat bill, and idiots fell for it, loyalty is brill but blind loyalty helps no one, wake up.

Agree12 Disagree3

{Ed025's Note - he is not my dad stig...but if he was i would be a one very proud son mate..

29 Apr 2018 12:11:29
Stand is the least we owe him. He did what he felt was right all the time with one hand tied behind his back. He made decisions with best interest of Everton at forefront of his mind. He may not have got every call right but how many of us got every decision right and if so where is all the money you made from all those correct decisions? Everton could have done with some of that dough to help Bill in last 20yrs.

Agree8 Disagree8

{Ed025's Note - well said cookie..

29 Apr 2018 12:36:50
You on the opium stig mate lol.

Agree5 Disagree5

29 Apr 2018 12:45:03
I think we would not be in the Premiership right now without Bill Kenwright's love and backing of our club. We've all made mistakes but he has always tried to do what is best for Everton and he's invested a lot more time, effort, money than I ever could.
Naming a stand after him would be a fitting testament to him.
I don't understand the haters - would they prefer Ashley?

Agree6 Disagree8

29 Apr 2018 13:44:49

I appreciate what he done for the club in getting rid of Johnson and steadying the ship, but the time is right for a thank you very much but the train set is mine from Mr Moshiri.

I will wish Bill the best in the world if and when he leaves and hope he still comes to watch us play. But know is the time for a new era hopefully with new DOF and new manager to take us into the 2018/ 2019 season.

Bill’s love for the club is unquestionable.
We have been ever present in the Premier League - a very rare success. We all want more. More trophies, more entertainment. but are we being realistic?
Don’t know him personally, but if there was a vote on naming a stand, Bill would get my vote every day.

Agree4 Disagree7

29 Apr 2018 22:13:56
Seriously I really don’t get some of the fellow fans, Bill wasn’t able to give anymore and what he did do then was find Moshiri, have some patience the tide will turn and Bill deserves his praise.
