48 days later and besic signs 5 year deal now for a striker or 2 .

Believable7 Unbelievable2

{Ed025's Note - preferably 2 KH..

28 Jul 2014 22:43:51
2 strikers, a goalkeeper and a winger and I will be happy, for now

Agree2 Disagree0

Minimum of 2 can't rely on Kone staying fit!

juventus reckon they are close to signing lukaku. so, that's put the lid on that target then

plan B === Bony would be good

Thats funny because martinez believes we are close, wolfsburg believe they are close, so, in other words, no one is close which pretty much puts us in with a chance still

Agree0 Disagree3

A lot of gossip is that lukaku has said he only wants to play for us, hope it's true, but C/ L footy is what he wants

I just hope it's all settled either way pretty quick

Agree0 Disagree0

The Juventus story is old news, about a week old. have faith guys and gals

Agree0 Disagree0

Exactly, the Juve story has more wrinkles than Mickey Rourke. If we get him we smash our transfer record, if not we depend on super Naisy and Ice cream cone. Either way I'm Everton and I'll be grey by the time I'm 30 and covered in hives by the time I'm 35.

Not so much a rumour, but could Remy be a good option at 8.5mil if he was willing to come to us?

Believable6 Unbelievable6

{Ed025's Note - £8.5m is the price to a club in the champions league fusion, we will have to pay £12.5m mate..

Think his wage demands would even put Abramovich off mate

28 Jul 2014 17:33:05
Why would transfer fee be different to a club in CL? QPR won't care, as long as they get paid. Remy might want higher wages of course. If he's failed a medical then there is no way we'd offer a contract on 80k+ a week anyway so no chance he'll end up at Goodison

Agree0 Disagree0

He had a clause in his contract 8.5 to a top four team 12.5 top ten team 15m the rest

Agree0 Disagree0

I know that's true but how was that rule ever agreed is behyound me, it has no logic at all he should have a buyout fee clause and that's that, football should be about simplicity all through and they wonder why corruption is in football, Germany won World Cup by doing the simple things well, transfers should be same a simple exchange as soon as clauses are inserted for different things the whole thing becomes difficult and easy for agents to start making money. Sorry for the rant

Agree0 Disagree0

No he has a bad ticker that's why harry wants rid

Agree1 Disagree0

Agree with Stevo, why would the fee be less for a Champs League club Ed?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - it just is tone, its part of his contract mate..

It was his heart that flagged up in the Liverpool medical. I coach the Liverpool school boys and one of the coaches I work with works at Liverpool's academy. He actually knows their club doctor well who told him

Agree1 Disagree0

He has a whole in his heart we went after him a couple years back when he was at nice and marseille revealed it when they bought him

Agree0 Disagree0

So did Asa Hartford he had a good career!

Hi eds am I not allowed to name sources of info on here?

{Ed025's Note - thats fair enough lancer mate..

No mate were not, it's fair enough but it makes our posts look like we don't know how to write. I can guess which source it is anyway mate.

{Ed007's Note - We try not to give people free advertising or send traffic to their sites. Plus we don't want this site to become bogged down with cut and pastes of articles (which are copyrighted) and arguments over what newspaper, journalist or tweeter are more reliable. EvertonRumours isn't a news/article hub.
We have had problems in the past with newspapers, bookmakers and Sly all trying to post stories/odds (spam) to hit-whore and attract people to their sites, we don't do that so why should we let them use us? If they want their stories or odds posted then they need to pay advertising I'm sure Ed001/Ed033 took legal advice over it all.
I hope that clears things up, Matt, we're not making millions off of people so we're not into helping others to do it, especially when we are against the way they go about things. Have you ever wondered why Sly Spurts News give you odds related to nearly every story? No other news service does that because they don't have a gambling arm that runs them. Is it news or is it manipulation, not many 'Sly Spurts sources understands...' actually come true but people will bet on Lukaku signing for Everton if Sly Spurts tells you he is having a medical.
2/3 summers ago Sly announced they had BIG news coming out of Old Trafford, this was when everyone thought they were signing Sneijder, two hours after their announcement they broke the story that his odds of joining Utd were down to 9/4, do you think that was all the bets they received after announcing the had BIG news? Or maybe I'm just cynical ;)

Ok that's cool know for next time

That's fair enough, ed. never really considered it like that. That said, when the posts are edited to remove the sources, it would be appreciated if you replace it with 'a paper' etc. rather than just removing it because, as Matt said, it makes us look like idiots and it harder for the readers to understand. Thanks

apparently website now say RM has said rumours that he is confident of resigning Lukaku are wide of the mark?

But he will sign a new striker ahead of the season!

Surely that goes without saying! and only one?

Regardless, other people at the club are talking. Which would not be sanctioned. Not only that if Bobby is asked to confirm that he did say we were close to signing Rom, he would also have to confirm that we are close to signing Rom. Untill he's our player Bobby can't disclose to any press outlet the details of the deal, purely because the press would twist his words and print everything but the truth.

{Ed025's Note - fair comment matt..

Different stories coming out, one rumour that Lukaku will be loaned for a year then an option to buy for 25 million euros. Considering it would cost about 5 million euro for the loan, that's 30 million total for Chelsea, more than anyone else would pay, in effect a staggered payment. quite creative you have to agree, but would rather buy him outright.
