Does anybody else think that the club on the whole has been a little quiet over this Stones saga?? yes there was talk of a so called letter sent to Chelski but apart from that nothing, all a little worrying if you ask me.

Believable0 Unbelievable3

{Ed002's Note - To be honest they have been embarrassingly vocal about the matter.}

27 Jul 2015 17:46:26
Its getting depressing m8s who will we be left with? all we from Everton is the Ferguson Testimonial? am I the only one who think its bad timing??

The club hasn"t said anyone"s leaving.

Agree1 Disagree1

{Ed025's Note - your right brian...they have also not said that all our stars are staying though mate..

27 Jul 2015 20:35:49
joke off a club again and the papers love to sell our players a couple off weeks before kick off I can see it now 0-1 Watford first game.

27 Jul 2015 21:14:40
I predict 2-0 Watford victory with Troy Deeney scoring both.
Can hear the debate now on radio phone in on way home Martinez out laughing stock.
Lots players have become unsettled & want out for one reason or another.
Not looking fwd to season one bit.

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed025's Note - i think thats being defeatist jonsey, if we dont lose anyone we will still compete mate..

27 Jul 2015 21:17:19
I'm very worried, then again the media always try to sell our players, just wish bk and rm would stamp these rumors out. I do feel we are falling behind. Bk and the board are probably coming up with some plan thinking they can spin us more rubbish. I have always backed by but I'm doubting why we never have any investors and the board never put money in

Agree1 Disagree1

{Ed025's Note - i think most of us are concerned pb..

27 Jul 2015 22:02:12
It looks like efc are willing to sell which is a massive pitty because were not far off a top squad!

Agree1 Disagree3

{Ed025's Note - i think we have a survival squad at the moment BB, for me if we get 2 quality players we could be europa challengers, but by rhe same token if we were to lose 2 top players we could become relegation candidates mate..

28 Jul 2015 12:36:48
No we turned down a bid and that's all why do we need to say something anyone can bid but until then the media create all the talk

I've just received a rather worrying message from a old mate of mine who lives down south to say he's just seen Stones going into Cobham.
Didn't have a clue where or what Cobham is and had to search it.
Really hope it was just the beer delivery or he's winding me up.

Your mate sounds like he is talking rubbish. The fact he happened to see stones just sounds like a wind up

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - unless he lives in stonehenge ray.. :)

28 Jul 2015 11:47:26
John Stones couldn't be in Cobham without permission. If permission had been given, then an agreement would have been reached with Chelsea. That being the case, the red tops would be celebrating on Chelsea's behalf and it would be all over SPN. As that isn't the case and, as John Stones is in Scotland, I think we can safely discount this one.

So the Star are now reporting that Lukaku could be the secret striker van Gaal is talking about. This is loosely based on the Memphis Depay Instagram account saying "Romelu Lukaku - see you soon". Any legs in this one Ed?

Believable0 Unbelievable4

{Ed025's Note - not that i am aware of andy but im not ruling it out either mate, they will probably come up with a player plus cash offer that involves evans and chicarito or januzaj to tempt us...i just hope our board have the balls to tell them where to stick it..

27 Jul 2015 11:29:24
Stones to Chelsea, Mirallas to West Ham, McCarthy to Arsenal or Spurs, Lukaku to Man Utd, Coleman to Man Utd. Have I left anyone out that's leaving?
At this rate I may bring my boots to our first home game as we'll have no players left. At least we'll be rich after selling all them as that's at least £100million worth of talent.

Agree0 Disagree2

{Ed025's Note - bloody hell joe..your worse than me mate.. :)

27 Jul 2015 12:41:45
Bill wouldn't sell all for new stadium Joe?

Agree0 Disagree3

27 Jul 2015 18:01:14
Ed025 do you mean I'm worse than you at football? You should bring your boots as well then, we will both get a game haha. Sitea I was joking with my message, I will be very surprised if we sell more than one of the players I named. We are short 2 centre halves and also short of a striker so selling Stones or Lukaku would make no sense unless we need the money to buy 2 new players for that position. I'm not sure how committed Mirallas is to us so maybe he will leave and hopefully McCarthy gets the pay rise he wants and his play probably merits.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i meant for moaning joe..but ill settle for a draw mate.. :)

27 Jul 2015 19:09:48
hopefully and get hernandez in a swap plus cash deal

Read my reply to the previous post! Rom is going nowhere.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jul 2015 10:17:06
Couple of papers reporting that Rom is wanted by Van Gaal now. Hopefully just the usual paper trash talk.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

{Ed025's Note - its no secret that united are desperate for a forward lancer, and with our board there is no guarantee that it wont happen, but if we sell our best players we will get what we deserve mate..its up to them now..

27 Jul 2015 10:43:25
Ed on the bright side if true we can ask top Dollar for him.

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed025's Note - selling your best players is a very slippery slope lancer, without the likes of stones, lukaku and mccarthy we will be a championship side at best mate..

27 Jul 2015 11:11:56
I guarantee, Lukaku, Mirallas and either McCarthy and Stones will be playing against Watford. If we are to lose anyone it won't be Lukaku. I don't know about you guys but it seems the tabloids are doing everything to unsettle our boys and probably being paid to do so.
wellzee

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - its our club thats unsettling me wellzee, no players to be sold i want to hear..but the silence is deafening mate..

27 Jul 2015 13:06:56
If there is any truth in the Lukaku story he'll be off like a shot. I'm surprised his agent isn't being more vocal about this to increase his chances of a move. £25m plus Chicarito sounds plausible if unwanted.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - raiola will have him out like a shot pod..

28 Jul 2015 11:35:05
These rumours have come about because of money taken by the bookies. The odds on Lukaku moving to United have been cut to somewhere around 9/2, while the odds on him staying at Goodison are a staggering 2/17. As you can see the odds don't favour those speculating (and it is only speculation)on Rom moving.
