Can we expect a deadline day deal done or have we finished, is there any real prospect, not, talks are ongoing with targets or rumours that will never happen, hard evidence or not BLUE TILL I DIE. COYB

{Ed025's Note - in the end howie its all speculation as only a few privileged people will know the real truth, sometimes we will get wind of talks about players from insiders at certain clubs but distinguishing interest from definite bids is almost impossible mate as im sure people realize, hopefully we may bring in one or 2 more but for me even if we dont there has still been great progress in this window..

I'm with you on this one ED, For a transfer window mid season this has certainly been one of our better ones. A couple more would be a great surprise but I don't think I would be wagering anything on it. I think Walsh and co are already looking towards the summer.

{Ed025's Note - i would like us to do a couple of pre-contract agreements in the summer myself grumpy, it takes out the stress...especially for me mate.. :)

Just can't see it happening ED, Would love it if we did but let's not forget the Walsh - Koeman partnership is still a young one. Like everything else, at the moment with Everton, we must not forget to give this aspect time to blossom.

All this talk about Baxter getting a deal and Bill being slagged off by some made me wonder. Does Bill or moshiri or rk deal with contract negotiations or is it left to chief executive or someone else?

Like Ed says let's get there on merit

However if United win the EFL Cup and one of the others in the current top 6 wins the FA Cup then 6th and 7th would get Europa spots as I understand it.

I think if united win the FA cup as well we'd get a spot too as they can't have 2 European spots. There used to be a rule that the FA cup runner up got the spot but I think that changed a few years ago.

What do you think of the Baxter situation Ed? Was he good enough to give a second chance to or do you think it's sending out all the wrong signals

To be honest Ed everyone deserves a second chance and I know drugs are everywhere but like I said does this send out the wrong signals that everyone else can do things like this and get another chance

Sorry, but I don't want Utd to win anything, even if it means we miss out on Europe. Can't stand that smug manager of their's.
If we are going to qualify for Europe then let's do it on our own merits, not somebody else's.
