R. E Aiden McGeady rumour. Spartak have just paid 10 million Euro for a new right winger. Could be a sign.
Steve the blue

Believable5 Unbelievable12

We don't need a winger, especially him. I hope we are able to sign a 10mill plus player without having to sell. Norwich are getting on my nerves now!

dont want him he's pish. beats a player goes back to beat him then falls over. struggle to cross his legs

Agree0 Disagree0

Just stop with the mcgeady rumours will you. He wasn't pulling up many trees playing in the subuteo league that is the Scottish prem, he is nowhere near prem class never mind good enough for us. I didn't see a clamour for his signature from prem league clubs when leaving celtic, ok perhaps only martin oneil, I think that tells you everything really.

Agree0 Disagree0

Easy jimmy, I'm not saying if I think its good or bad. Just letting you all know what my russian contacts are saying.
Steve the blue

Agree0 Disagree0

Im not having a go at you personally steve, and realise you're only passing on info received. Imo mcgeady just isn't good enough for everton full stop. And I can't see why some fans think he is to be honest, bu that's only my opinion mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

Jimmy and the rest of the doubters are right McGeady is utter s****. The blue shirt would be far to big a burden for him to carry. I wish kopites would stop posting here.

In the Derbyshire post it states everton and a few other clubs are monitoring will Hughes! Would be a great signing

Was monitored by Barcelona for a while. Excellent player.

If we signed Hughes he would turn out to be one of the greatest signings of this summer, not initally, although very good at present, but in the future this lad is going to be a super player. I believe we were interested in him in January, but no bid was made. CraigHuytonBlue

Apprantly we are looking to bid 20 million for Colombian striker Jackson Martinez who currently plays for Porto - can't see it myself but would improve us immensely and qualify as our 'marquee signing every few years'

Believable3 Unbelievable13

And where does this 20mil come from then, we haven't got 5mil. seriously

Agree0 Disagree0

Sell jely for 8 buy this guy for 20 and put anything left to another CM
Quinny

Agree0 Disagree1

Hes agreed to join napoli

Agree1 Disagree0

Napoli are the only real chasers of his signature, Porto want around £40m for his signature.

Agree1 Disagree0

We can all dream

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance on this earth will he sign for us, half of the big clubs in europe want him and he will cost more than £20 million

Agree1 Disagree0

This guy is pure class. It would be a dream if he came to everton. I personally believe that we have quite a bit of cash left to spend but this would be more than I would have ever hoped for.

Agree1 Disagree0

RM. must spend carefully. This guy around 30m.

Agree1 Disagree0

Contractor 15 how much have we got? and how do you know?

Agree1 Disagree0

Considering he's signed for napoli I don't think this will happen

Scott Sinclair. Be Everton next signing

Believable17 Unbelievable15

Think he will be a good addition and adds pace where we have lacked

Agree2 Disagree0

Why have we been linked with every winger in the world? Pienaar, Mirallas, a couple of others who can play there and the Barca kid on loan not enough wingers for a manager who likes the wing-back system? Now we're going to sign Sinclair/Moses/Dyer/McGeady

Agree3 Disagree1

Wouldn't mind seeing his bird modelling the new shirt blue waffle

Agree1 Disagree1

Some people think pace is the answer to everything, you have to be a good player too otherwise we may as well sign Asafa Powell and Tyson Gay, i've heard they're both available

Agree0 Disagree0

Because when we lose one of them to injury we're screwed. Also everyone keeps saying about wingbacks but Martinez is not stubborn to one formation.

Agree0 Disagree0

Have to agree with the amount of wingers. at least it's all paper talk. kone can and will play wide

Agree0 Disagree0

The only winger what would improve our team is Moses, if we really do want a winger we should go all out to get him although personally I would be prefer we spend on a striker as it looks like Jelly will be leaving.

any truth in the defoe or sinclair rumours? {Ed025's Note - the sinclair rumours seem the most genuine joe..

Everton favourites for Scott Sinclair

Believable13 Unbelievable7

26 Jul 2013 14:01:07
Looks lie Scott Sinclair. Is Goodison. Bound according to a few reports

Believable16 Unbelievable4

Which reports?

Agree1 Disagree0

Metro lol saying we are favourites to sign him

Agree1 Disagree0

Let him go to Stoke or WBA, not good enough for Everton in my opinion. Would he improve the team? No

Agree0 Disagree1

R u jokin not good enough for everton he is a quality winger who is still only young I say go and get him right now

Agree2 Disagree1

Sinnott we have plenty of players who can play out wide and we will probably playing wing backs Bainsey and Coleman so why do we need him. He didn't break into a quite poor man city team last season.

Heard that moyes has realised he's out of his depth and was never bigger than everton an that he never made us and his little ass is flapping because he knows not only will he never win at the s****, the arse, chelski, but now he will never win at Goodison :) laters moyes cheers for the service but Bobby we trust now and good luck to him! Bainesy to stay as he can see he's loved and I've heard big dunc had a quiet word in a small office with him! Johnny H is definate bye bye off to Ajax

Barce have said they will reject all bids for fabregas, so in my opinion this 100% means they are forced to buy Fellaini

Believable7 Unbelievable6

I don't think so mate. Let's consider Fabregas and Thiago playing is nearly same. But Felli is far from that. I think Cabaye is alternative.

Agree2 Disagree0

26 Jul 2013 13:46:21
Just means they want more money than has been offered mate, Fabregas will be going to MU but probably for 35 million nicker

Degsy

Agree0 Disagree0

Why? felli and cesc are 2 different players

Agree1 Disagree0

I know this our site blues and I am only interested in what's best for us. So I hope baines & fellaini stay but something telling me fabregas will go to united and Rooney will go the other way I can't believe nobody else had suggested this.

A guy I know at work played golf in hoylake last week and spoke to Paul Ince, he said apparently and I do stress apparently Tom Ince is very interested in Everton. However Everton have enquired but have made no significant move for him, makes me think Roberto has another target but has Ince as a back up. Your thoughts Ed, have you heard anything?

Stanno {Ed025's Note - only that we have looked at him stanno..

Believable3 Unbelievable2

He is very interested in Everton?. So what, why wouldn't he be, he plays for Blackpool. He is just another over priced, over hyped British player. Why waste all that money on him when we already have better players in his position.

The guardian are now saying that Moyes is DELIBERATELY waiting till after the 31st July deadline to put a bid in for Fellaini, because he reckons he can get him cheaper than £23 million. He also sees Fabregas as the priority and Fellaini as a last resort (way to boost someone's confidence, Moyesey). Maybe I'm being naieve but I personally feel Moyes won't make a serious approach for Baines or Felli and even if he did, it certainly wouldn't come out in the press before hand like he's doing with his pursuit of Fabregas. If I'm wrong then shoot me, but I feel Moyes has too much respect for Everton to do that

Believable6 Unbelievable13

Pretty pointless waiting til after the deadline, we can still accept less now too, but we're not going to.

Agree0 Disagree0

Moyes has no respect for anyone, and is totally lacking in anything approching principals!

Agree0 Disagree0

If I was him i'd try to sign him now because once that clause expires the asking price will be higher and rightly so, If Bale is worth £90 mill then Fellaini is a snip at £30 mill.

Roswell back to everton! {Ed025's Note - now that would be an incident!..

Believable2 Unbelievable16

Now that is out of this world.

Would rather have the little green men than rodwell!IF that's who you mean :-)

It seems that you're alien to his history, now UFO! Blueimp

Are you hinting he might be an E verton T arget?

Agree0 Disagree0

He'll have number 51 on his shirt I expect! {Ed025's Note - it will be in that area i expect.. :)

Agree1 Disagree0

Reports of Jack being seen around Finch Farm are wide of the mark, it was just a weather balloon. {Ed025's Note - whats your sourcer?.. :)

Agree0 Disagree1

The men in black outside goodison were there for the funeral not a cover up!

W. T. F?? ETIENNE CAPOUE TO CARDIFF? that's another one gone by the looks of it. what's the chances we lose felli and get no time to replace. Oh well we wouldn't have it any other way eh?

Believable2 Unbelievable8

We can't sign everyone mate! If he was one of Martinez's targets then we would of made a bid. He obviously wasn't cause he's never mentioned him and now he's moved to Cardiff. Get over it, would rather have Fellaini anyway!

Agree0 Disagree1

Really already gone. I 've just accept 10m. allow Cardiff to open talk to agent and player.

Agree0 Disagree0

2 options
:

His clause ends next week so after that we can reject everything

OR

If someone bids we still have a month to find a replacement.

Agree1 Disagree0

We obviously don't want him. If we did, we have got him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Or, we can put a silly price up for him

Agree0 Disagree1

He was never linked with Martinez, he was a Moyes target.

Agree0 Disagree0

Apparently from a friend who is close with Cardiff City has said Capoue will turn them down and wait for a better club to come in. Weather that is us or not I do not know but Capoue will not agree personal terms with Cardiff

NathCOYB

Agree0 Disagree0

Have you ever saw him play?

Agree0 Disagree0

He has turned them down and is being linked with Athletico Madrid now

Ed, it's obvious you don't like Tom Ince. Why not? {Ed025's Note - its purely personal on my part, i met him once at a presentation do, and lets just say i was not very impressed..

Believable6 Unbelievable0

He's a massive big time Charlie. Complete dick. Good player, but thinks he's Messi. He ain't.

Agree3 Disagree0

Like father, like son. Both overrated by themselves

Agree0 Disagree0

My Nephew worked at Liverpool FC and said he was completely arrogant and up himself.

I think he's a decent prospect but because of what I've heard about his attitude want us to steer well clear.
