I could see how that would be a short term help for them, effectively ends his career at the end of the season though!

Messing, of course, he has been a great servant to the club and should be remembered fondly, but he is nowhere near good enough for a top half prem team, never mind United, anymore, so this rumour is just ridiculous.

Are you lot messin? Osman a one of the most underrated players in the league, he would never leave everton unless he wernt getting on the bench, he was are best player against Fulham last week.

No, they can actually have him for free. His performance today sums up how he's been all season and most of last season.

Disgraceful comments on Osman as per. Short term memory, same crowd berated Coleman for the last few years.

Everyone was good against fulham and if anything osman was one of our more average looking performers that day, loads of players are underrated, morgan schneiderlin and adam lallana are underrated, very good players not getting the praise they deserve whereas osman is a below average premier league player people are calling crap which, in fact he's probably closer to crap than below average and the argument that annoys me is 'he has been here for years so he shouldn't be getting treated like this' well tony hibbert has been here for years and people treat him like dog poo but hibbert actually does stuff he keeps wingers quiet, ryan giggs, demian duff, cristiano ronaldo ben arfa are among a long range of players hibbert has marked out the game but he is treated like crap, how often do you hear 'osman gave such and such nightmares with that performance', you never hear it and even though this rumour is rubbish if it was true they can have him and he wouldn't be missed on the pitch

Mike, I have to say here you go with your black and white view of things again. I am sure if I had said Tony Hibbert was good, you would have said he was crap etc. In my humble opinion, every team has to be built out of different types of players. Some good at some things and maybe not so good at others. Ossie has certainly given Everton certain attributes over the years that perhaps others have not been able to. He has been neat and tidy and has chipped in with more than a few goals and assists. I would agree his age is starting to show. I would also say Barkley is looking a more useful player. However, the manager picks the team and if you want to have a go at someone, I suggest it should be RM not Ossie. He has also been loyal. Moreso than eg Rooney!
