With fenerbahce booted out of the champs league is the Yobo deal off? {Ed025's Note - my god..i hope not

Believable8 Unbelievable1

Heard it was wrapped up two or three days ago but then everything has gone quiet.
Was a surprisingly decent fee as well.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just read that Ferberbache have asked the Turkish FA if they can play in a lower division while this match fixing thing gets sorted. No way Yobo would be up for that.

Agree0 Disagree0

This has been a long running saga, i wish it could just be sorted and he could be off our wage bill as he is clearly not going to play for us again {Ed025's Note - if he did...i would be very disappointed, to say the least..

Agree0 Disagree0

Why have you ripped a post exactly word for word from another Everton forum.
I thought you'd done this before and I was right.

Lets go with the full Nigerian strike line against rovers
Vic Yak and Bark ffs.

--------Timmy H-----------
Hibbo-Jags--Distin-Baines
----------Fellaini-----------
--Osman--------Arteta----
----------Barkley----------
----Big Vic---Yakubu------ {Ed025's Note - lost for words....

Believable4 Unbelievable11

Give it a go nothing to lose {Ed025's Note - yes there is...3 points!

Agree0 Disagree0

Personally Ed I don't think it matters who we play upfront if we play with that exact midfield I would play rodwell CB and Neviile RB {Ed025's Note - i think it does matter...if we dont score, the most we can get is 1 point!

Agree0 Disagree0

What I was saying is with that midfield we would create that many chances for the forwards we would score goals

as lazy as Yak is and as annoying Vic is they would smash the goals in

Reason our strikers look poor all the time is because if service from midfield

U cannot play most if u players out of position and expect them to be able to create loads chance for our strikers

Everyone blaming the strikers but strikers need to be supplied with decent balls to feed on

You know that Ed I know u not fan of yak or Vic but it's worth a try

If like original poster says we play attacking football instead of defensive crap we will be like a new team

I bet if Yak or Vic played up front for Barcelona they would net loads of goals

Hahahhaha made me smile thinking if Barcelona replacing Messi with Vic {Ed025's Note - i enjoyed that post mate...and agree with a lot of it..cheers

Agree0 Disagree0

Ahhhhhhhh, Barkley isnt Nigerian mate. {Ed025's Note - no..hes good

Agree0 Disagree0

Barkley qualifies to play for Nigeria actually. {Ed025's Note - but will he choose them over england?..who he has already played for....i dont think so!..

I can see us winning against blackburn, especially if we play this side and 4-4-2
Howard
Neville Jags Distin Baines
Barkley Osman Fellaini Arteta
Beckford Saha

Believable12 Unbelievable3

Looks a strong side beckford defo needs another striker with him it showed last year he isnt good enough to play on his own {Ed025's Note - it would be good..

Agree0 Disagree0

I Can see us starting with Cahill and Saha up front for blackburn if they are both fit

Contract talks with felli are apparantly going well I dont think he would sign a new contract unless he was assured that our current financial problems are coming to an end or we are moving forward as a club So if he does sign then maybe theres something good going on behind the scenes, we will have to wait and see, hope he stays

Believable11 Unbelievable8

I'm guessing if he signs there will be a buyout clause for certain clubs and he will get a pay rise until he does get sold. That way it's more money for him and us. I like your idea more but can't see it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeh your comment seems more likely, if he signs and has a good season then all we need is someone like man city to want him and thats our debt cleared :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

He has signed nothing yet. So don't build your hopes up. Plus we are just constantly being lied to.

Agree0 Disagree0

70,000 a week is what I've heard

Agree0 Disagree0

We are not being lied too As I posted previously we are in the very lucky position to have a great man who is also a fan as chairman and who gets along very well with another great man, our manager. Chin up guys, I am very optimistic for the future. Our club is one of the finest in the world STOP KNOCKING IT We have a multi million pound training facilty, a great team of players and another brilliant prospect from out great youth setup. I think we should play to our strengths when coleman back;

jags jonny distin.
coleman. baines
felli
mikel. barkley

cahill

Saha

we never play with wing backs even though we have two of the most attacking full backs in the league this system is interchangeable (including the bench) we will have to make do with current squad we wont b signing anyone, as I said previously, swp was ready to sign in January and was just waiting for the call but it
never came, fact and nothing has changed since then

Believable5 Unbelievable8

Thats because we have a tactically inept manager, who only knows one system.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think Moyes is tactically innept, he's just too negative sometimes, I'm sure on Saturday against QPR they were told to go out and not lose, not go out and win.
5-3-1-1 won't work for one simple reason, Neville, love him or hate him he's Everton captin and has just signed a new 2 year deal, he's not going to be dropped and he certainly can't play wing back 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 with Cahill in the whole would work and give Saha and Beckford support up front which is what they miss most

Believable5 Unbelievable9

He's at Rangers, he'll be on a max of £30k a week.

Agree0 Disagree0

30k a week that we havnt got, also, does he have a fee attached?

Agree0 Disagree0

He is on 15 grand a week at gers guys,i,m a ranges fan and would not be surprised to see this happen,,he doesnt sound happy up here

Gents, good news AW placed a maximum bid for Jags of 13.5 million and this was rejected he has now turned his attention to Gary Cahill or Ryan Shawcross

On the Arteta front his name was mentioned then dismissed as being out of form and not fully recovered from injury.

Where does this information come from, my wife who works at Arsenal in finance.

Therefore we can relax

Believable5 Unbelievable13

See you in midtable, ps. just hope you don't hurt your neck looking up {Ed025's Note - dont write us off just yet!..

Agree0 Disagree0

"DID" work at Arsenal finance you mean after they find out :)
