Robert elstone in Qatar. Finding investment for us?

I don't think he is looking for invesment out there people who want to invest in football clubs look in to which clubs are open to invesment and its been widley reported by every paper and spirt satiob for the last six or seven years my point is people no we want investment/buyers people don't need him to tell them

I disagree Shakey. We all know that Nestle want to sell chocolate, but, they still advertise widely.
It does no harm to keep in touch with investment markets and potential buyers. Making something happen beats sitting on your arse and hoping something happens.
I'm not so arrogant as to think that there are no
rich people or financial institutions in the world
who haven't heard of E.F.C. For all we know the
C.E.O. may be trying to fund a new stadium by selling naming rights, or he may well be looking for a buyer. He may even be at a pre-arranged meeting.( Can't see billionaires making their way
to Goodison).
The fact remains, we don't really know why or even if he's there, but if he's there on our behalf then let's hope something positive ensues.

I would just like to say I think investment is already in place as why on earth would you look for a site for new stadium there is absolutely no doubt that we can't build a stadium without some major investment i'm not saying someone is buying us or anything like that but I would not look at houses until I have rough mortgage idea of what I can afford now I know it's not the same but if there was no sign of investors then there is no stadium I believe finding a site with a feasible option of developing it is the main objective for investment it's the one reason we have not been bought

I agree investment in place . That's why we getting a new staduim

The only realistic reason for bobby elstone to be in qatar is to top up his tan

The first thing you do when you want a new stadium is look for a site. You don't go to potential
buyers or investors and say "Look we need a new ground, if you cough up some dosh we'll go searching for a site and then we'll go from there. We don't know if planning permission will be granted or if there'll be an inquiry. In fact we really have nothing concrete to offer you."
I think we can take it, there is, at this present time, no money.

I live in Qatar, and posted about this a week ago, and put up a pic on the everton sightings page, he was only there for a Business if Football conference.
