Everton are set to make a renewed move for the highly touted Belgian international striker Jelle Vossen from Genk.

Don't know much about him but heard he's decent, he'd be better than no one that's all I know
(He's quality on FM too haha)

Believable11 Unbelievable8

Id love to see him go to Everton, he was the best striker in Belgium last season, really talented. But: 1) would cost something around 8 million, 2) Genk coach vercauteren is reluctent to sale any more players...

Agree0 Disagree0

A bid of 6M would be enough

Agree0 Disagree0

Scored 9 in 17 games

Agree0 Disagree0

In 2009-10, but last season he scored 20 in 23 games. And 6M would not be enough i think...

Just heard that moyes as been looking at Nottingham Forest superstar Lewis Mcgugan, would be very difficult to prize away as forest have said they would not sell and have already turned down bids from Newcastle Wolves Stoke Villa and Sunderland. just seen some of his goals on youtube they are ridiculous

Believable9 Unbelievable8

I said we should go for him a long time ago. I see him as natural replacement for cahill {Ed025's Note - i dont know much about him, so i will take your word for it..

Agree0 Disagree0

Wow
just saw his freekick against ispwich on youtube
he is definetly one we should look at,
maybe he won't be in the starting XI this season if he does sign but think of how good we will be a few years down the line
barkley, gueye, vellios, baxter....mcgugan

Agree0 Disagree0

YH MGUGAN IS A MUCH BETTER STRIKER THAN BECKFORD AND HIS YOUNG ASWELL, IF EVERTON CAN GET HIM THIS IS A REALLY GOOD MOVE. HES A GOOD PLAYER.

Agree0 Disagree0

Forest fan, - mcgugan is a fantastic player struggled with weight and attitude issues a few years a go but as always had the talent. Last season he was unstoppable and would definitely do well in the premiership as he has the natural quality. Can play on either wing but his favoured position is centre midfield, personally I think best in a free role. Because of his contract it would take silly money and with forest not needing it teams are finding it hard to prize him away. So I just hope he stays our main man but would be a super cahill replacement.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hard to get as forest dont need the money and he is there main man, but a quality player

Believable3 Unbelievable21

There is 11 in a team... AND why the hell would be drop Distin and Osman?

Agree0 Disagree0

We only playing with 10 men :)

Agree0 Disagree0

And why would we loan out Rodwell? {Ed025's Note - that is non starter..

Agree0 Disagree0

Emptyhead

Agree0 Disagree0

Why leave neville out ? hes the captain

Agree0 Disagree0

The 4-3-2 formation is a popular choice in football these days... {Ed025's Note - lol..

Agree0 Disagree0

What about Arteta, Distin, Bilyaletdinov, Osman, Neville an Saha?... That just makes no sense sorry, plus 10 men we striggled last season fielding 11, now we plan on playing 10 haha

Agree0 Disagree0

I didn't know Kevin Keegan had started posting on this forum

Agree0 Disagree0

Have you got a player missing there?

Agree0 Disagree0

Probably the most ridiculous post i have ever read. 10 players in a side and loan out Rodwell. Please what ever you do dont ever get involved in football, not even managing Under 7's down the local park

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would United Loan Rodwell? If anything they would buy him and loan him back to get playing time.

I think everyone has just got to trust in moyes, he wouldn't be still at the club if he didn't think he could take it forward, as he is very ambitious, I'm sure he will improve the squad slightly. I believe the players we have are good enough we just need more consistency.

Believable12 Unbelievable4

What jobs are availible for Moyes at the moment? Believe me if 1 was on offer of a reasonable calibre he'd be gone.

Agree0 Disagree0

Brilliant post. if we have no money, how will we afford to pay the FA fines for fielding less than 11 players ? ;)

expect everton to agree a fee for nzogbia by end of today, everton were waiting for villa to make there move first {Ed025's Note - i would love you to be right..

Believable9 Unbelievable18

Hate people who make things up there is no way that this will happen the sooner we accept that there will be no big signings unless we sell a top player the better. Where is this money going to come from??

Agree0 Disagree0

If this is true, I will literally send a video of myself running into the local tesco NAKED... {Ed025's Note - oh how i hope it is true!

Agree0 Disagree0

Where is the money coming from then? Jags must be on his way cause efc are poor {Ed025's Note - destitute is the word..

Agree0 Disagree0

Didn't villa already make there move with 9 mil bid?

Agree0 Disagree0

Well there is only 37 mins left until the end of today and still no fee agreed

Agree0 Disagree0

Love how people still hold out for N'Zogbia, there is no way in hell we will be seeing charles n'zogbia in the blue of Everton, and we have one man to thank, and that is Bill f***ing Kenwright. {Ed025's Note - true

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha funny has n'zogbia signed yet, BK might also be waiting to see what spurs accept for Modric before we pounce, because Bill Gates has secretly bought us, haha think n'zobgbia would prefer Goodison though.

Just read this?
It seems that Nicklas Bendtner has finally sorted out his next destination after reports have emerged over the weekend suggesting that a move from Arsenal to
Everton is imminent.
If it's true let's hope Moyes can get more out of him than Wenger can {Ed025's Note - at the moment..this is good news..

Believable8 Unbelievable7

I dont see it happening as I feel we are destined to sign no-one this summer. However, if it was to be true, guess a loan spell wouldnt hurt, honestly, not a big fan of the lad, but if he is in an everton shirt than I will back him from the start. Just hope Moyes knows what he is getting into. {Ed025's Note - it looks as though david is getting backed into a corner, ..

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, remember my post a few days ago where i mentioned that bednter would be part of a deal with Jags and £12m......watch this space, gutted but true {Ed025's Note - there has been rumblings today..but i hope we get him on loan ..so that if he is..what i think he is..we can ship him back.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, Sorry to inform you but this will be a definate permanant deal in order for DM to get the cash quickly so he can scupper Villa's deal with N'Zogbia.

Arsenal do not have a war chest to draw from but have a miniscule budget believe it or not (estimated at £25m, which is a lottery win in our books but for Arsenal this is very very tight), unless they offload Fabregas or Nasri which they have no intention of letting either go.

I have genuine reliable sources and each time I have posted during the transfer window I have been proven correct, N'Zogbia's agent is attempting to stall negotiations over his personal terms until thursday as his preferred destination is EFC, I anticipate this news to be announced over the next 36/48hrs....watch this space {Ed025's Note - im banking on this news being correct mate...dont let me down!

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2011 16:31:23
IF we lose Jags, what about Ryan Shawcross? {Ed025's Note - lets just hope we dont lose jags..

Believable3 Unbelievable8

25 Jul 2011 15:33:50
lets sell rodwell as he was injured last season and we did ok without him and spend the 15 million, 10million on either nzogbia or sturrage and the other 5 million on holtby failing the top 2 we should try and get defoe {Ed025's Note - that would work for me..

Believable7 Unbelievable5

Really wish people would stop mentioning N'Zogbia, WAKE UP PEOPLE, he is essentially in a Villa shirt. Never stood a chance, and we wont stand a chance for any signings until a) we sell one of our stars or b) Getting rid of BK. I pray for b) to happen one day {Ed025's Note - amen brother..

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2011 15:25:08
well thatll be the striker problem sorted then that prolific goal machine mcfadden?????? {Ed025's Note - if we do sign him....we will be a laughing stock ...and it will be deserved..

Believable4 Unbelievable7

Although i understand it would be a freeby the stick well get off the kopites will surely be loads.why do they make us look like tramps all the time grrrrr {Ed025's Note - my mates will rip me to shreads, i will have to wear a hoodie + sunglasses when i go out..

Agree0 Disagree0

Tbh we are always the embarrassment of the transfer window...

Agree0 Disagree0

We might as well pack up now if this is as good as it gets - you know we are in trouble when Moyes talks up Victor And now one goal a season McFAdden {Ed025's Note - can things get any worse...now wheres that flaming cat!!

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2011 13:59:37
Everton and Blackburn are in for Jimmy McFadden...

What do we think? Always technically gifted but did he not have long enough to prove himself last time? {Ed025's Note - yes he did...and he was not up to it

Believable8 Unbelievable8

We all seem to agree though mate that we have a great team - but our squad is too light in numbers.

What about just a squad player? Can maybe have an impact off the bench when the inevitable injuries toll up... {Ed025's Note - thats going backwards mate...who,s next..brett angel?..

Agree0 Disagree0

Point taken

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd rather not be linked to a player that is also being linked with Blackburn {Ed025's Note - me neither..

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2011 13:55:36
Seriously?, Sky are linking us with James McFadden, c'mon, We've got enough dead meat at the club, we don't need more Surely we have 4-5m to spend on Lewis Holtby? {Ed025's Note - cant see it myself..

Believable3 Unbelievable7

25 Jul 2011 13:52:36
Please tell me that news has got it wrong and we really not tryin to sign Mcfadden ??? {Ed025's Note - no way..pedro!

Believable5 Unbelievable0

25 Jul 2011 12:21:54
"Moyes' high hopes for Vic" seriously?
Why does Moyes STILL think Vic will be a good player, we've all seen him, he's a championship player if that {Ed025's Note - moyes is just being like a used car salesman...hes got a lada...but is trying to get the price of an audi

Believable8 Unbelievable1

25 Jul 2011 11:01:16
evertons tour has ended now moyes has time to look for loan deals, so what if we have no money we have done well for the past 3 seasons with out it we should sell jags because he is only gonna get worse not better, buy dan or cahill, hopefully not upson on a free, then buy either long, cole maybe, bellamy on loan because he is fast and has a good shot {Ed025's Note - do you really want carlton cole???....hes hopeless!!!!..

Believable2 Unbelievable6

There is no point selling Jags for 15-17mil and then buying a player like Gary Cahill who is worth the same amount, because then we have gained nothing. If we sell Jags (not saying we should) then we should have enough to buy a replacement and a new player (preferably striker or winger) {Ed025's Note - yep..

Agree0 Disagree0

Carlton Cole is a fat, lazy below average striker, we already have Anichebe and Yakubu... {Ed025's Note - well said mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2011 11:03:29
sell rodwell because he cant help him improve then buy jarvis from wolves and a striker {Ed025's Note - not a bad shout mate

Believable6 Unbelievable4

For me Rodwell is the leading candidate to be sacrificed, it wouldnt be for Jarvis, would be ridiculously overpriced because he ahs had one good season and is English (cough cough Downing). If we sacrificed Rodwell, would love to see us go after that German lad Lewis Holtby. Absolute class at 20yrs and is available for a steal (Think like 7mil). Leave us enough to buy a half decent striker as well. {Ed025's Note - good shout mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2011 11:01:52
----fox----

Everton WILL sign N'Zogbia either for £9.5m in installments or player plus cash deal. We'll soon find out one way or the other, N'Zogbia will be gone from Wigan by the end of the week. {Ed025's Note - the horse has bolted..

Believable4 Unbelievable14

Villa have agreed a £9.5m fee for him already.

Agree0 Disagree0

Skin like a Rhino - Fox returns to top form with another cracking bit of insight. If it's ok with you Foxy my old chum, I will just hold off ordering the N'Zogbia shirt...
You keep 'em coming tho. {Ed025's Note - he is hardly notradamus is he?..

Agree0 Disagree0

Joke that N'zogbia ha waited around long enough we blatantly dont hace a pot to p**s in so good luck to him at the selling club...prob be at arsenal or the red s**te next year n'zogbia

Agree0 Disagree0

Deal agreed between wigan and aston villa. A good shout again, fox ;)

Agree0 Disagree0

The deal is pretty much done, they have agreed a fee and would be likely done by Tuesday from reports, and I doubt our board could manage to sell players to raise 9.5mil and then sign N'Zogbia before he signs for Villa. Absolutely gutted about this news, 9.5mil for this lad is a steal considering the market today. {Ed025's Note - at the moment it is only an agreed fee..but i know what you mean..

Agree0 Disagree0

N'Zogbia will be a Villa player within 24hrs. Fee agreed with Villa - 9.5m

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe we might sell yak and yobo and sign shane long or someone like that probly nothin else though

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2011 10:49:39
nzogbia has agreed to join villa in a deal worth £9.5m, nice 1 big bill, you are killing our great club, get out now. {Ed025's Note - well said..gutted..

Believable14 Unbelievable2

Up to now only the fee has been agreed. Our only hope would be the player refusing to go there. {Ed025's Note - true..

Agree0 Disagree0

Am absolutely gutted about this, could have been a terrific signing. Am really starting to resent BK, just incapable of running a football club, something needs to be done or else we are going to be in big trouble. I jsut wish we signed SOMEONE who can make an impact on the first team, not only to increase our quality, but the fact that a new signing brings excitment to fans and players {Ed025's Note - quality post mate...i agree with all that..

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree just 1 big signing would be great BK is going to ruin this club that he so called love's come on bill stick to panto What's feallni going to think he will want out along with every other player as we have no ambition now {Ed025's Note - well said..

Speculation: Everton chairman Bill Kenwright has been spotted holding talks regarding Charles N Zogbia with Wigan owner Dave Whelan, according to our rumour room. To check out the latest gossip and have your say, click here.

On the News gossip column last night...

All the speculation seems to say that he would prefer a move th us but Villa have the money now...would love to see us pull it off somehow {Ed025's Note - so would we all mate..

Believable6 Unbelievable2

N'Zogbia is a terrific player, but did we really have a genuine shot? We were never in the running because we didnt have the money. Oh well, head up lads, lets move on, and there are still plenty of other good players available should we be able to generate some funds (from selling players). {Ed025's Note - we have got to move on...but it still hurts..

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2011 10:32:49
Jags - out 18 mil
N'zogbia -in 10
Heitinga should take jags' place. {Ed025's Note - if it is ...jags out....i would prefer...scott dann..£10m....shane long £8m...but thats just my opinion..

Believable2 Unbelievable6

Agree with this lad. Heitinga given a chance could be a terrific player for us. Sell Jags, give him a chance with Distin, promote Rodwell to 3rd choice CB (or Duffy) or buy a cheapish replacement. Think N'Zogbia is out of the reckoning as he seems Villa bound. One player I would like us to target is Matthew Etherington from Stoke, think he is increcibly underrated, and watching him against Spurs at WHL he was exactly we what need

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2011 09:41:16
ed , can u comfirm that any clubs are in for yak and yobo, cos theres seems no comfirmed takers for the pair of them {Ed025's Note - yobo will end up in turkey..but god knows when?....leicester want the yak...but wont pay £4m..he may go out on loan..

Believable4 Unbelievable0

25 Jul 2011 02:58:15
Everton could hit City with a Triple swoop, as sources suggest Adebayor, SWP and Bellamy were seen outside Goodison.

Adebayor loan - possible?
SWP loan- possible?
Bellamy - 4 mill

I'd go for that Pavone while he's in the north west before Blackburn sign him {Ed025's Note - thats pie in the sky mate..

Believable2 Unbelievable18

Is that the same SWP who was playing in LA last night

Agree0 Disagree0

Seriously doubt we could afford one of the trios wages, yet alone all 3. I mean isnt Adebayor on something like 100K a week? Doubt City will look to loan them out, would rather have them sold. {Ed025's Note - true..

Agree0 Disagree0

You are a silly daft man if you believe that

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2011 00:54:08
I want Donovan, nzogbia and sturridge or wellbecki hope to see either at least rod well or jags, jags is 28 rod well is like 21 if we can make him something we can sell for double {Ed025's Note - if we dont...we lose out big time..

Believable6 Unbelievable6

To me one star has to leave, kind of a situation like Rooney (although he wanted out), we sell someone and reinvest in the squad as we did with the Rooney money (Arteta, cahill, Jags, Lescott) and that got us into 4th the next season {Ed025's Note - but it must be the one that moyes wants to go!..we must not be bullied by teams like arsenal!..

Agree0 Disagree0

if we do lose out on n'zogbia i think vargas from fiorentina would be a good buy
i read he is valued at £10 million though

Believable3 Unbelievable2

He caused us some problems in 2008 UEFA cup in both legs. Hes a left wing back, he can play also in left back or left midfield, he has a shot on him like a bullet and he is quick

Agree0 Disagree0

Vargas would be brilliant, but I thought he is happy at Fiorentina. If we dont land N'Zogbia (which probably we wont get) then my first preference is Holtby, 20yr old, already capped for Germany and valued at 6-7mil and is a known Everton supporter. Seriously, would be an absolute brilliant buy
