Hi Ed, blimey what is going on it now says on Twitter ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that Thai Investors are close to a takeover with Everton I just wish someone in authority from the Club would come out and let us fans know, cheers GuernseyBlue.

{Ed001's Note - from what I can find out, it is nothing to do with Thais, it is still the Americans. Though it does seem set to happen this time. All the other rumours were just false hopes, but this is a genuine takeover bid that is closing in on completion. They can take months though, the Man City one was announced prior to it happening and they bought Robinho as a good faith payment prior to the takeover happening. It was finally completed during the January transfer window. So that gives you an idea how long takeovers can take, and that one was very straightforward.}

you KNOW you are going to get pestered for " inside info" now ED 001 LOL.
{Ed001's Note - I can't give any inside info though, NDAs make it impossible to give any more than I have done. Bill Kenwright could be on here personally and still not be able to give anything other than what I have said. Unless the takeover goes through the courts, like Liverpool's did, then it is very difficult to get any info that can be passed on.}
