If the rumours in the papers are true about a rift between players over Niasse and Davies, then Niasse has to go for me. He is not good enough for where we want to be and if he is causing a rift, get shut.

{Ed025's Note - i dont know how true it is blueboys but if it is the case then its the first thing brands has to sort out, the rags and especially the scum where this comes from love to concoct stories in order to sell their wares so how much of this is true is any ones guess, if there is even a grain of truth in it it needs to be sorted asap and the culprits brought to book mate..

24 May 2018 08:53:18
As Ed025 says the originating rag is nought but scum. Can't understand why many in the City still read or buy it, obviously not football people. However, if there is an element of truth then for me both players have to go. One player so far (yes I know he is young blah blah) has failed to live up to his initial scene burst and the other although contributing some goals, long term is not good enough for this Club. In any case if this fella Brands is as good as the majority of coaches, owners and pundits say he is, he will sort it. So far I like everything he has said, intelligent and commonsense.

me personally get baffled by our fans wanting a young local lad kicked out the club because the scum have printed something that is in all likleyhood a lie we must be the only club that don't back our own as I have had many arguments in the lower Gladys with fans who can't wait to get on the local lads backs for me this is second season syndrome which happens to 99% of young players after they break through and having Sam in charge hasn't helped him for me Tom Davies deserves our support and let's see how next season goes after that we will then know if he is good enough.

This is sensationalism of the highest order. If it was as bad as the story depicts it then you wouldn’t see anything like the team celebrations when Niasse scores.

The players must dread this time of the year between end of season and summer tournaments as the papers will lie about anything to get some print out there.

I will be surprised if 10% of this is true.

Ask yourselves this. Should every player need to put a transfer request in to oust someone who isn’t good enough to start when they are?

What a load of pony.

Bluey79 I think the majority if not all of our fans will want niasse gone if this is true. I for one will be right behind Tom Davies as I am every time he pulls that shirt on. He’s one of us.

'If'. 'in the papers'?
what do you mean IF true?
what if its not true?
Firstly its not in the paper (S) .
its in one paper. and the article gives a wishy washy story about absolutely nothing.
Heres one for you. it refers to Calvert Lewin as our 'hotshot' striker!
What if that's true too?

Kingy1878 if only that was the case I don't know how many times I argued with people who couldn't wait to get on the lads back last season it's the only thing that I hate about some blues who can't wait for one of our own to fail me I think they should get our total support they are doing what we can only dream off.

Gregg O'kieth from the Echo has shot the story down saying he has spoke to someone at Goodison and there answer was it's false typical scum making stories up.

Bluey79 that’s good news if it’s not true. I’m not sure who you think wants a young local lad kicked out. I am a massive Tom Davies fan and cannot stand Niasse in a blue shirt, I think he is awful! As to where I read this, it was on an internet page where I read it, being talk sport.

Few issues here lads:
1. There was too much pressure on the young lads last season. Ideally they’d come into a team playing well and with confidence off the bench and when players are injured rathan play 40 games. Take the pressure off, let them make mistakes. We never 3 or 4 up so the pressure was always on!
2. Ignore any reports on transfers, back room squabbles or anything else really - especially if it’s in the s***rag. It’s the time of year for rehashed or simply made up stories to fill column space. If Niasse was a problem - he’d be out and there’d be no shortage of takers. 5 or 6 clubs would take him in the Prem alone.

I was kind of hoping it was true, at least it would have been some kind of an excuse for the compleat rubbish that was on show over the season. It doesn't sound true, we'll just have to go back to blaming poor management and team selection along with players put out of position.

Couldn't see Davies or Niasse causing this kind of trouble tbh. Look at the source and forget about it.

BLUEY79, the way I read the story is that everyone was behind Tom Davies not Niasse so I haven't seen anyone calling for Tom to be kicked out.
Now I do love Niasse for his attitude on the pitch but if he is causing that much unrest it could point to a reason for some of the poor form some of then have been showing.

Obviously the fact its in the S*n is more than enough reason to treat this as BS, another reason is that for all of Big Sam's faults he never struck me as a man who would tolerate someone disrupting the dressing room to that extent.
as in all things at this time of year its probably better to wait and see before getting upset with any rumours that might appear.

Not for one minute do I believe it, but if it comes out to being correct, we can all look back now in hindsight why Koeman was adamant that he would not play for Everton again and to look for a new club, quite possibly this could have flared up earlier in the season and kept quiet.

Only a thought but does make you wonder why Koeman was keen to offload Niasse, just trying to make sense if total bull, or if there is something in this or not.

hello ToffeeAL ducksflysouth said in a earlier comment that if true both players should be sold.
I agree I love Tom Davies but as with Barkley some fans can't wait for Local lads to fail and as soon as they do a sideways or bad pass BOOM they are out of their seat giving him all kinds of abuse I look at it this way these kids are doing what we can only dream about playing and scoring at the Gladys street is all any Evertonion ever dreamt of and like you said these kids should get nothing but our support otherwise they will move to a club whose fans appreciate them.

I find this really hard to believe. These things seem to seep onto the pitch if true. Before he left, Lukaku had a full blown row with Williams in the opposition half, while eto would refuse to warm up, repeatedly shouting "I am eto! ", so to see zero evidence of this between Niasse and Davies puts this in the bulls#1t column.
