Have it on good authority Fellaini handed a transfer request after the game and stormed out of Goodison and didn't look happy, looks like a move is imminent. My friend who went the game witnessed this himself.

Believable24 Unbelievable23

Your mate saw him hand in a transfer request or your mate saw him storm out of Goodison? Because I can believe one and wouldn't blame Mo if he was annoyed today.

Agree4 Disagree0

Right, so because he (allegedly) stormed out this means he handed in a transfer request?
I strongly suspect you're stirring the pot and are, in fact, a supporter of the DS from over the park in Mordor.

Agree2 Disagree0

How can someone that was at the game witness a player going to Martinez office or another office inside Goodison and handing in a request?
Nice made up story.

Agree7 Disagree0

Your friend witnessed him handing in the transfer request. So he read it? I'm smelling bovine faeces

Agree2 Disagree0

He saw him hand in a transfer request? good eyesight.

Agree1 Disagree0

Why when we haven't even had an offer anywhere near his worth.I could understand it if they had offered £25 million.

Agree0 Disagree0

He witnessed Felli handing in a transfer request?

Agree0 Disagree0

I saw him after the game, having pictures with fans.

Agree2 Disagree0

U heard this one Ed? or more pie in sky, with a pig flying by? {Ed025's Note - thats news to me AW mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

On whose authority because I'm calling rubbish. Your just trying for a rise because we only drew. Martinez has warned it'll take time so let's stop the bsing and wait for it to come good.

Agree0 Disagree1

We need to sell Felli ASAP to raise some much needed funds for Roberto to strengthen the team. midfield has no energy, and Felli seems un-interested. buy McCarthy and Defoe ( maybe available for 6M ). we will then have some young fresh legs in the CM position, and a proven finsiher in the box, which we are crying out for! come on roberto, let's get moving! what u think ED? {Ed013's Note - At the right price}

Agree2 Disagree1

I think he has been watching repeats of skys dream team haha what a show please bring back Carl fletcher the legend his son must be old enough now for a new story come on harchester

Agree1 Disagree0

You mean to say we need to sell a midfielder valued at £28m who scores 10+ goals per season and on his day controls the tempo of games and could destroy an expensively assembled defensive unit to STRENGTHEN a team?
Stick to FIFA or Football Manager lad, you clearly know very little about football to come out with a comment like that.
Let me ask you this, Sky gave Everton £60m in TV deals money. They have spent £8m.
If we sell Fellaini we'll get maybe £20-£22m 20% goes to Standard Liege how much will we have to spend on STRENGHTENING then?
We won't ever be able to buy a £28m replacement!
Dave M

Agree0 Disagree0

Some good posts there guys. I just wanted to add that I would like diame. he's a player that I think could make a difference at our club. with the current squad intact. allowing felli to go fwd, and get his 12 goals.jcl

Agree1 Disagree0

Dave M, we don't need to sell Fellaini but we must.I've watched everygame in pre-season and the first two games of the season and I can tell you he doesn't want to be here anymore. It's so obvious and can't believe you can't see it.Get rid now for the right price and sign someone who actually wants to play for us.

Agree0 Disagree1

We must sell Felli? Sometimes I despair at my fellow blues (if that's what you are) and the doom and gloom that they attempt to spread. So you are telling me that the man hasn't been trying since the team started pre-season and that he is carrying that in to the new season? Absolute rubbish. I suppose he hit the post on purpose to force a move! Get a grip, the entire team is adapting to the new system that RM is implementing. By your logic, maybe Pienaar is after a move also as he hasn't performed at all and super Kev must want out as well as he wasn't at his best yesterday. Crazy talk

Agree1 Disagree0

Well there you have it a voice of sense for once. Well said 'Spudy' I despair sometimes I really do.

Today just showed how desperate we are for a center mid, Osman isn't good enough!

Believable22 Unbelievable7

Big change from last season when he should be playin for England every game!

Agree0 Disagree5

Difficult game today with WBA playing 10 men behind the ball, that said if you want to aspire to anything as a team or manager you have to learn how to break that style of play (resistance) down. On Osman we(not me)(majority of Everton fans find it ease to ridicule our own yet a far worse display was produced by Mirrales and Naismith (bit part) both costing more than our home grown talent. The game was a disappointment as we expected more but only one team came to play. On the positive side i've seen us lose these type of games so at least we are still unbeaten.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mirallas was awful today but he is regularly brilliant. I can only say half of that sentence for Osman.

Agree4 Disagree0

Scott parker captained england, why didn't he go to a club bigger than fulham because he was one of the most over rated players in the country a frauadster.so don't go on about osman playing for england.he should be a squad player at best.

Agree2 Disagree0

Agree, gibson will help us when fit but we def need another one. how about giving Jelli and Kone a run up front and dropping barkley back to center-mid?

Agree1 Disagree1

There were at least 3 players worse than Osman playing for Everton today, including Mirallas. Why do so many fans jump on the Osman is rubbish band wagon,? It is do telling that they have never played at any level when they do not understand the game.

Agree1 Disagree1

Striker. We need like most teams a 20 goals a season striker. Jelavic defo not that man. Hope kone gets fit and starts banging em in. If fella and baines get sold to that red git, I hope we buy 3 one being a quality striker ( benteke esq)

Agree0 Disagree0

Hold on a minute Osman is good enough, but he's ageing and maybe like Tim Cahill has passed that point you need to be a top level player. Great servant and bluenose. Have some respect this isn't the reds@@te forum. Sorry ed. Stanno

Agree1 Disagree0

I agree we need more cover in centre mid, and I agree Osman wasn't good yesterday. But to say he isn't good enough is ludicrous!

Agree0 Disagree0

Osman isn't good enough and that's the truth Stanno, if we want to move forward and win games then take him out the squad and add more quality.

Agree0 Disagree0

I've always said Osman's not good enough, for all his neat footwork he's just too lightweight, gets knocked off the ball too easily.IMO him and Hibbo have always been our weak links. At last we've got a decent right back now it's time for Ossie to warm the bench and get McCarthy in.

Agree0 Disagree0

Used to really rate Ossie, he is a technically good player with an eye for a goal (albeit sometimes fortunate ones). Lately though, he's looked slow. People ghost past him too easily, he's often beaten to the ball on the middle of the park and he doesn't seen to follow the runner as often anymore. I think he's a decent player still, but I do think its time to get a new midfielder in his place. McCarthy of Wigan would be a great investment, even if it does add to the "Martinez only buying Wigan rejects, we'll finish bottom" moaners on here. I do sadly think its time though that we started looking to replace him as I feel it could start costing us games. It's clear to see the difference when Gibson is in the middle bossing the tempo, we just need to keep him fit

not being funny but who else thinks barkley is not as talented as he is hype't up to be takes to long on the ball lacks the confidence and accuracy in his passing and either over or under hits his passes? coming from a true blue!

Believable14 Unbelievable35

No one thinks that. He is criminally inexperienced due to moyes, which is why he occasionally takes too long on the ball. His 96% passing accuracy was the highest in the league last week and he is the only player who actually puts some pace on his passes. Actually watch the games, mate.

Agree6 Disagree1

Got to disagree with you, this lad is a quality rough diamond. He'll benefit from regular game time and, to echo senior members of the squad, he seems to have matured a lot in last 12 months. We've got to forgive him for his mistakes as this is the only way he will learn. In the main, today he had another decent game. One or two nice little touches and passes. We have a real talent in our team, let's hope Roberto is the man to turn him in to a top premier midfielder

Agree3 Disagree2

Are you a red if not where you watching the game with rubbish in your eyes considering he has only started and played in a handful of prem games I think he has stood out above the rest I know its early days who would you rather play barkley or nairubbish ?

Agree0 Disagree1

24 Aug 2013 21:08:05
Peoples opinions on different things regarding everton change one week to the next depending on how well everton played as a team or an individual played that week!

Agree9 Disagree0

Poster clearly didn't go to the game today!

Agree0 Disagree0

Barkley was one of the positives today, the lad is quality.

Mr Blue Sky

Agree0 Disagree0

Barkley has been best player over first 2 games. I think Moyes must have posted that before putting in a 3mill bid.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol you are clearly a "person". if you think he is over hyped then go sit in the corner on your own. its not just efc fans who rate this kid its everyone who watchesa football

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Aug 2013 02:16:35
The way he runs effortlessly with the ball at his feet past players and has the vision to pick a pass between a centre back and full back shows the quality is there and a pleasure to watch, just needs more confidence but more importantly than that, game time with his team mates to understand their style of play. Jelavic for one is screaming for the ball on the floor, as stated above between either the 2 centre backs or the centre back and full back, when barkley has the ball at his feet 25 yards out running at defenders. The key is when to play the pass. too early and you sell Jela short and he is shut out, too late and the chance has passed. We as a unit need to start playing to our strengths, but have a plan b if 10 men are behind the ball and we are struggling to break a team down like today. CraigHuytonBlue

Agree0 Disagree1

Stop watching football, you don't get it.

Agree1 Disagree0

He's still very young, and is naturally going to have ups and downs, and be inconsistent but he definitely has the talent to make it big. Just don't expect too much too soon and put pressure on the lad. He's going to make mistakes but the key thing is he learns from them.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think he's probably been the best player in the last two games. I think him and fellaini have been spectacular and I can see a nice partnership forming. Furthermore, they carried Osman.

Agree0 Disagree0

He reminds me of Gazza, when he was younger, all he needs is the right man management & we could have the future captain of club & country in our midst!

Agree0 Disagree0

I said on this forum last season when he wasnt getting a sniff under "the sneaky liar" that Ross will be a £30mill player very soon.the lad is quality.looks like he will get a regular place under Robbie which will be make him even better.
The problem we have is keeping him.

Get ready for a mad week of transfers as soon as the weekend fixtures are out the way it will all kick of with bale moving will spark the whole thing expect a 35m bid for fellaini and baines which will be refused and kenright will launch is trump card by landing rooney on loan with option of buying next summer bk will challange Rooney to get us in champions league he knows rooney wants to be worshiped again he needs to say thank you for launching his career with us he knows he could then pay a good salary to him

Believable13 Unbelievable22

How I wish this was true

Agree0 Disagree0

Great post? I want some of what they've been drinking

Agree0 Disagree0

35m bid for fellaini and baines which will be refused? they will go on the last day and we will get told to late to get a replacement?

24 Aug 2013 17:13:55
wow. erm just wow, what a shocking display, if this is how martinez wants us playing this season then he could be the first sack of the season as we won't win a game {Ed025's Note - perspective baru mate..

Believable15 Unbelievable16

Don't want to sound negative boys but I think were going to be in a relegation fight this season.
bluenose gaz {Ed025's Note - no chance..

Agree4 Disagree2

Judging him after 2 games into the season is wrong, it's early days.

Agree2 Disagree1

Give the man a chance ffs. It's 2 games, we lost the first 2 games of the 84-85 season, s**t happens, unlucky last week, DM causing all kinds of crap with his mouth and silly bids this week WBA putting 10 men behind the ball and a ref from the planet zog didn't help.

Agree1 Disagree0

Poor performance - what's the point of possession football if you do nothing with it! Passing it about at the back with no purpose is a dangerous tactic
Pace of the game too slow! Need to reinforce our midfield ASAP where's the tv money gone

Agree1 Disagree0

I think we played ok today. Bit more luck and we would be on 6 pts. If felli finishes instead of hitting inside of post we wouldn't see all this negative crap.

Agree0 Disagree0

This post is laughable!Hows about, just for once, we be positive and back our team and support our manager rather than criticising at every single opportunity. it was his first home game in charge and he's trying to change the way we play and our mentality, doesn't happen overnight! {Ed025's Note - well said mate, it seems at times that some people would love us to struggle just to say "i told you so"...for christs sake get behind the manager and the team..we are called supporters for a reason you know!!..

Heard a rumour this morning Ed which just might have some legs to it. LEWIS HOLTBY to come in on a 12 month loan deal. Aparantly he's not happy falling down the pecking order with there new signings Spurs have made and a few more on the horizon. Martin {Ed013's Note - Could happen}

Believable16 Unbelievable14

Don't think he's what we need now. Gollum type of player, not RM's.

Agree0 Disagree3

Great player would be a good fit can play a few positions and is good on the ball midfield is definately an area we need to strengthen

Agree1 Disagree0

Personally I hope this is true as I think we need another mid with class and he would be perfect plus he's an Everton fan

Agree1 Disagree1

Good player reminds me of arteta at his prime but he would have to take paycut as he on 67k at spurs

Agree0 Disagree1

He's not good enough. Otherwise tottenham wouldn't have got so many players in at his position.
Would prefer moses, although am I being cynical and saing he's only being kept at cheslsea to fulfil the english quota? Same as barry and milner and sinclair who all get bandied about on loan to us?
Either way we need someone else in centre mid, gibson can't play 30 games and osman has been poor since his cap. We'll see what our squad looks like on sept 2nd because I think felli will be gone.
Molly888

Agree0 Disagree1

Would love him I don't see why we couldn't have gone for him before spurs only got him for 1.5 mil

Agree1 Disagree0

Hope not don't need a spurs reject. He had the chance to join and decided against and has been awful since he came to the prem. we dodged a bullet there in my opinion!
