Just thought I'd post this since its Everton related. Som Irish Everton fans might know who i'm talking about if ye follow Gaelic football, in this case the county minor competition. Last years Tipp county minor keeper is going out to England for trials with Everton and Stoke after his leaving cert. He plays with Clonmel FC, and at that age they are very good. He is also the Senior keeper for them. I've played against him myself and he is very good, he is probably one of the best young keepers in Ireland. He's 17 or maybe 18 years old. {Ed025's Note - thanks for the info mate..

Rumour:- Aussie mining billionaire Clive Palmer may be interested in Everton FC, he has very deep pockets and see's a PL club as a great promotional tool for his business. He is a football fan, he owned a club in Australia but he had a few run ins with Aus FA.

Ketchup {Ed025's Note - thats my daddies favourite..

You know what i mean harry!!

As an Aussie, I can tell you this guy is a bit of a nutter, he had his ownership stripped by the FFA (equivalent to the FA) and the club he owned has effectively folded. Effectively said he would rather rugby league than football, and has tried to start a new football organisation in Australia to oppose the FFA.

I don't see this having any truth in it, especially since, with the exception of the first 2 seasons, he let all his good players go because he didn't want to spend money and they had a team consisting of mainly youth players.

No truth in it, and I wouldn't want him anywhere near Everton as it wouldn't be good news anyway. {Ed025's Note - cheers..

Is Ketchup the new BS?

toffee haz

Agree1 Disagree0

Think so, it's like staying in is the new going out!

Agree0 Disagree0

As the previous Aussie said and as an Aussie as well, this guy is a person and I would not want him anywhere near Everton. He has tried to destroy football in this country and surely would destroy Everton.

Agree1 Disagree1

''Activist to sue mining boss for accusing him of treason
Clive Palmer has backed away from his CIA claims ''

Got this from the ''Australian'' Bus. section.......
He looks to me like some rich guy with a penchant for p1$$ing in the wind lol

Crazy rumour I heard, moyes is going to resign after the final game of the season. He doesn't have a job to go to as yet but shouldn't have any trouble, sane enough? This is we're it goes crazy, moyes has thrown his teddies out the cot after a realistic takeover approach was made and thrown out, nothing spectacular but enough to be getting on maybe 10 mill+ sales a year. The focus was to be back office and financial strengthening off the field. The thing is if moyes goes it will leave BK exposed and hopefully lead he way to a takeover and moyes will be reappointed. Has to happen quick tho.

Believable7 Unbelievable36

Sorry mate, but no chance {Ed024's Note - Moyes is going nowhere

Agree0 Disagree0

Why on earth would moyes quit without a fallback? He would rather sit out his hefty contract than leave.

Agree1 Disagree0

No way bbc football website Moyes has asked Kenwright to give him money to buy his players early in the summer {Ed024's Note - Exactly

Agree1 Disagree0

"Crazy rumour you heard" or "Crazy rumour you are making up"???

Big difference you see!

Agree1 Disagree1

Why would moyes leave we have got a bit of money for once. COYB {Ed024's Note - Moyes has unfinished business at goodison, it is our best squad in his time here and next season could be great

Agree1 Disagree0

Rumour is from a well placed, person with good connections and no reason to lie. Fingers crossed the second bit can happen without first bit.

Agree1 Disagree1

Not making it up, heard it from some one with excellent connex at the club, the craziness is about the idea he could quit and return again. Moyes is seriously fed up, so the likelihood of him leaving is high.

Agree0 Disagree0

This smells of RS making it up and stiring the pot.
