On-loan Swansea midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson, 22, has been priced at £10m by parent club Hoffenheim, who will try to ward off plenty of potential summer suitors, including interested parties Liverpool, Everton and Manchester United.

I really hope that we can find the cash from somewhere and buy him, I really rate him.
Bobcat {Ed025's Note - damn good player..

Agree0 Disagree0

Would be a great signing I'd also like dembele or sessegnon. AntEFC {Ed024's Note - We should be in the market for some talented players, there are deals to be done even on a limited budget.

Agree0 Disagree0

Very good player, and young which is what we need, but, with limited funds, a right back and a right winger are the major positions that need sorting out. its ok having a bit to spend, but all these players mentioned will want big wages, something we cant offer without some kind of investment

Agree0 Disagree0

There is more money than u think ask ED. ps. great player but can only see liverpool or united getting him

ed just wondering were people are getting all these transfer stories from .do u reckon there is a takeover in place people were saying a while ago about yanks taking over at the end of season is there truth in it or just people making up stories like before .stef the blue {Ed001's Note - sorry I think it is the latter. Though I do think there will be an investment in players by the club, I don't think outside investors will be involved just yet.}

Believable2 Unbelievable6

Ed how much do you think will be invested in players this summer? Any rumoured figure? {Ed001's Note - not much more than 5-10m + sales, from what I am being told. Though I get the impression that any deal for Pienaar (which is about as nailed on as you can get) is not included in that figure.}

Agree0 Disagree1

I'll be more than happy if we only get Pienaar. So to hear possibly £10m is very good. Moyes can stretch more far so with around £10m hopefully we will see a couple coming in. Fingers crossed Adam Johnson is on that list {Ed001's Note - for the same reason Drenthe has blown his chances of a contract, I don't see Johnson being an option. He doesn't train well and likes to be out on the lash when he should be resting.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Think most of it would take that now rb rm as well try offload few ste44

Agree0 Disagree0

Ahhh thats not good. I really like him as a player but we should stay well clear if he's not professional enough. Any Idea who's on the wanted list Ed? We really need pace in the side. Is Hoilett out of our reach? {Ed025's Note - yes mate...his greedy, blood sucking agent will be touting him to the highest wage payers!..

Agree0 Disagree0

Matt Jarvis that is all

toffee haz

Agree0 Disagree0

Typical agents :( Any Idea who we are realistically looking at? Hear alot of names banded around so was just wondering what your info is on the situation. Cheers mate

Agree1 Disagree0

Hi ed, glad to hear money is availlable but was wondering where has it come from? also saw today moyes saying there will be transfer activity and will try get it done early. i would like to see jarvis 5million maybe fletcher upfront with jelavic. but i am watching season review of last year and beckford looks fantastic would it be completely unrealistic for him on loan? what about Holden from Bolton or moses or zaha. all good players COYB looking good from DanEFC {Ed001's Note - I have no idea where the money is coming from, Kenwright has been after investment for years though, maybe he has finally found some? Beckford won't be back, his attitude was the issue with him. I don't have any info on incomings at the mo, other than Pienaar and Drenthe having blown his chance.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeh hopefully so from what u have heard it sounds like there is some money? sorry hard to get my head round the fact we have some money haha. my mate told me pienaar is on the verge of joining and Jelavic has told Pranjic to come

My dads mate told me that moves is to leave for the tottnham job and brendan Rodgers is arranged to take over at Everton hope it's true COYB!! {Ed024's Note - Moyes is staying in my opinion

Believable3 Unbelievable48

Hope its true?? why?? how can some people be so ungratefull, this season has been a real mix but once we got some money to spend in january just look at what weve done (semis final was a disaster). we are sitting 7th in the league, we are actaully scoring goals (12 in our last 4 league games) and thing will only get better next season

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you mad!! I'd have Moyes over Rodgers any day. ewefc

Agree0 Disagree0

Honestly people are brain dead, why do people actually believe we should get rid of moyes. Know one could take us further, with the money hes been allowed to spend. People need to understand realistically we should be no greater than mid table. However Moyes has kept us pretty much a top 8 team for his duration with us.

Agree1 Disagree0

No I hope not unless new investment comes no other manager can do what moyes has done and lets face it if we do get investment then why would moyes go anyway

Agree1 Disagree0

If moyes goes, our best players go. Unless we get mega man city rich and can get mourinho, then i want moyes in charge

Agree0 Disagree0

So why is it that Brendan Rogers spent 5 hours at Spurs last week? BlueTone

Agree0 Disagree1

Anyone who wants moyes to leave is not a true blue and obviously knows nothing about football

Agree1 Disagree1

I think it is well out of order to say they are not a true blue if people want Moyes out. Last week there were a lot of blues who felt the same, a good result against Man Utd does not change a huge amount for me. There are still question marks against him and knee jerk reactions to a few losses isn't helpful but neither is a knee jerk reaction to an away draw.
