Don't shoot the messenger, but I've heard a rumour that we had 8 mortgages (or loans, whatever) and that apparently last week 6 of them were paid off in one. My source isn't exactly in the know, but they reckon that you can somehow access this information on the Internet, similar to what that 'watch toffee' bloke on twitter did. Make of this what you will, whether it means a takeover, or Bill sorting his affairs out just in case he takes a turn for the worse.
I have also heard a rumour from someone who is usually reliable (reasonably in the know) that Bill isn't as ill as first feared (which I hope is true), but I'd rather not go into further detail and speculate too much on the man's health to be fair. Either way, get well soon Bill.

This may well be a case of adding 2+2 and getting 5. However, I had a strange wisper, a china based groupe have been discusing building and part funding a new ground, but without direct involvement in the club. Nameing right meeting the upfrount costs and allowing the club to pay the outstanding over a protacted period. No idea if this has real substance, but there are a number of elements, which seem rational, low long term interest rates, steel at a very low price, plus they are being courted for uk investment!
