If he goes, will be remembered fondly. Past his best now and you could see him wanting to enjoy a couple of years in the sunshine. Let him go by all means, but get a few quid for him.

Good luck to him, a true professional, had a few injuries during his career, but his partnership with Pienaar has been one of the few highlights we have enjoyed over the past ten years.

I love LB. He's always imo been one of our most consitent players - until that is his last long term injury. Calm down Negs. He's still a great player but age and/ or injuries are catching up with him so if he wants a move maybe we should cash in before it's too late. Whatever he decides to do he will always have a place in my Blue Heart.

would be very sad to see bainesy go, think he can still do a job at the very least a squad player. if allowed to leave surely that means we've been impressed with the left back we loaned out to Bolton, robinson.

Love him to stay one more year as back up to whoever we buy, but if he goes he deserves his pay day in the sun.

Been a great servant.
Shame his England career didn't start 2 or 3 years earlier as he was over looked in my opinion.

Time to move on, he is the wrong side of 33 and hasn't been at the races for the last 2 seasons.

Deserves full respect. Also means 2 Lbs required now.

I think he could still have a role to play next season but, if reports are true, I wish him nothing but the best and thank him for his years of great service. If this is the case then there must be a couple of left backs on the way in already as we are particularly weak in this position as it stands.

Mowfee it's just paper talk with us looking like we going to get Silva and him bringing him to Watford it's just papers putting 2 and 2 together plus I think we would be the last club watford would sell him to mate.
