{Ed002's Note - No I don't think so. Boris Mathis is only a kid (18 I would think) and I am not even sure if he has played for Metz' first eleven yet. There was a dispute over his first pro contract which would have been limited to three years but he is registered as a Metz player. Everton would need to approach Metz about and discuss any transfer and I am pretty ceratin that has not happened. So for me I don't see how he could have signed without unravelling his contract. I can't answer if he is any good or not as I only knew of him at all because of the contract issue.}

I read that he'd played twice for the first team last season but little else about him.
