Heard bad things about him from a few Geordie mates and barring in mind RoKo seems to love Stekelenberg, I'm not sure I trust his judgement on goalkeepers.

Eds so we still have interest in Vincent jassen from az or is he going to Spurs now. He looks worth a gamble and the price what's been getting quoted €20m doesn't seem too steep for Hollands main striker and 27 goals last season. Thanks.

When you mention interest ed, would that be Everton have sounded out club, agent or both?

Plus is he only an option if Lukaku moves on? as if I remember from your previous answers you said he would be looking to be regular starter for any club he signs for.

{Ed002's Note - There is sustained interest in Carvalho from Arsenal and Fenerbahce with some residual interest from Manchester United and growing interest from Leicester. Monaco, Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Chelsea passed on previous interest and moved on to other targets because of the cost. Sporting would ideally like to keep him a year more but know that is now unlikely. After his injury earlier in the season they see this as the ideal time to cash in on him. Everyone knows there seems little room for negotiation as Carvalho has signed a new contract and his club has set a new price minimum price for his sale. Whether anything happens or not in the summer remains dependent on whether any club has the stomach to pay the new asking price, and I think someone will.}

Hi ed should we be concerned that Everton haven't made a signing yet? Most of the big teams have and do you think we really have£100 m to spend?

{Ed025's Note - i would not be overly concerned just yet jbg, things will be going on behind the scenes and with the euro,s making it difficult it was to be expected, and yes we do have £100m to spend on players which may even increase if stones or lukaku choose to leave, july should be very interesting mate and next season could be a pivotal one in evertons history..and i cant wait..

We just need to be a little patient, let Koeman evaluate what he has. Like Ed says there will be things going on behind the scenes. I much prefer that approach over the likes of West Ham having the chairman's son tweeting club business to make a name for himself.
