Well I'm sorry but silver is on borrowed time and it's a terrible appointment we made and will set us back at least 2 years AGAIN and Everton have wasted so much money over the past couple of years it's embarrassing.

Let's hope we get a good F. A Cup run starting with Lincoln on Sat.

Silva isn't necessarily the problem, its the lack of continuity and the need for results. We have completely changed the way we play yet have only changed a few players from last season. The only way we will know if Silva is a good or bad appointment is if we give him the time to get the players in capable of playing the style of football he wants us to play. That assuming he can even get them in the time scale that allows him to keep his job. Looking at the top teams it has taken about 2/ 3 seasons for a manager to develop a team capable of challenging the top 6. Have we got the patience to allow Silva the chance to try? If not then we will be back to square one whinging about being in the top ten but not being able to compete with the top 6.

Omg hear we go, cry in to spilt milk, absolute rubbish talk again, we don't have a striker, we can't score goals, 17 shots at goal, was it 2 on target, that's why we lost, 60% of possession, we are doing all good things, but just cannot finish them off. Once we get a striker things will change.

Have people forgotten how bad we were last season? . Wasted money on signings. Sorry but last transfer window was the best we've had in years. Another 2-3 windows like that and silver/ brands will have the team they want want/ need to hopefully compete with top 6 sides. yes we need to strengthen in a few positions but you can't buy a whole team in 1 window. Keep the faith blues. I for 1 am 100% certain we have the best dof and manager we could attract at this stage.

Without consistency in the style of play then unless the player is brilliant then there is a fair chance that they will not look as good and may seem like money has been wasted when a new manager with different tactics and style come in. I do think the current team has a great deal of potential and should be given the chance to show what they can though.

This great transfare window in the summer.
Gomez tires to easily, Mina is inconsistent, only Digna looks a real good buy, please take off these rose coloured glasses guys and girls.

Dark Clouds, think Gomez will come good as will Bernard. Mina was bought on the basis of his goal against England and being a big lump, nothing out of the ordinary in all his other World Cup games. Digne got to be the buy of the season for us.

What do you expect, want or think should happen in the next 6 / 12 months? How quick do you think a club can sort out issues?

It doesn’t matter who the manager could be they would all need time a few windows with money. Silva has to be given time. Changing manager every 6/ 12 months is not the way forward.

We should just sack him and keep sacking every manager until we get one who has a 100% win rate. As soon as that drops, sack him too.

Like that CT. We need to give Marco time. He has the rest of this window and all of next window in my opinion. If we keep changing the manager, we will never get a consistent team. Marco and brands has a plan. We need to see that plan come true. If we finish in 11tg this year. Yeah rubbish, but rome wasn't built in a year. We need to give Marco time to mould the team how he wants it. We need a striker! We buy a 15 goal a year striker we will rocket up the league. We also need a back up keeper.

But we need to get rid of dead wood from the team. Walcott, Tosun, Schneiderlin. Along with a few loan moves!

But we need get behind the team!

Skylark we have top top Manger in Marco, he just needs time to sort out his players, I hope we all get behind him we need him here for many years to come, stop blaming the manager all of the time.

He has to be given more time; definitely until the end of next season (and beyond hopefully) . There are glaring issues, but he will be aware of them and needs the chance to sort them out. Remember he is trying to clean up the mess that he inherited from previous debacles. We can’t keep sacking managers, otherwise we will never improve, and it will get to the point where no manger would want to join us.

I didn't say change the manager i said he should never have been appointed and he is on borrowed time.

So you’re not saying change the manager but that he shouldn’t be there in the first place and now that he is there he shouldn’t be there anymore? So. you want a different manager?

Let's just assess the managers performance at the end of the season.
Personally. Anything above top 9 and I'd take it and go into next season with a much better squad who will have a better understanding of how the manager wants to play.
The lads looked knackered the last few games and we don't have the quality on the bench to rotate the attacking positions. A quality striker whenever he arrives will give Silva options to rotate richarlison, siggy, Bernard and Walcott.

{Ed002's Note - It is astonishing you think that going backwards is a good thing.}

I wouldn't lose any sleep if he was sacked.
