He's a good player, reads the game well but is slow and struggled with having jags and him at the back against three quick forwards. He will do well for us as cover for jags but we need someone with pace there when distin doesn't play.

I really want vellios to get a go because I think mirallas should play on the wing and then vellios upfront because as much as I love naismith I just don't think he makes a big enough impact on games and yes I know he has scored against some big teams and scored the winner against chelsea

He will be released at the end of his contract and go back to second tier football in Greece

Can't see Duffy being ready for a good while yet, if ever. Gave a ridiculous penalty away last weekend and got skinned for the other goal. Seems a bit on the slow side to me and pace isn't something you improve on.
I think he'd do ok at a Stoke or Hull but don't think he's Everton standard yet. I know pace isn't everything but with Distin approaching the end we need at least one CB with pace as neither Jags or Alcaraz are blessed with it.
