loic remy will be an everton player in the summer. he has a clause in his contract saying that the club must release him if they go down and I personally think that they've gone now. Moyes was interested in the past. what do you think Ed? {Ed025's Note - he would be a great addition mate..

Believable7 Unbelievable24

Keep him off the penalties tho

Agree0 Disagree0

Think most of their players may have a release clause in their contracts so its worth sniffing around.

Agree0 Disagree0

Unfortunately QPR pay massive wages, it's the only way they can attract players. Remy would probably have to take a big pay cut to join us. And footballers don't do pay cuts!

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure his goalscoring record is that good.

Agree0 Disagree0

Aintree blue

Some players take pay cuts especially if it means playing regularly in the premiership, so don't generalize too much.

Agree0 Disagree0

He's going to Newcastle at the end of the season nearly joined them in the last window til his agent was contacted by old brandy nose to tell him he'd give him 150
Grand a week and a free transfer if they go
Down wich is now a cert

It's a sad April fools joke. But one thing is true we do have people intrested buying the club

Believable10 Unbelievable19

I have announced that i'm going to buy the club and build a 60,000 seat stadium

Agree0 Disagree0

Why exactly would we need a 60 thousand stadium when we can hardly ever fill the 40 thousand we already have?

Agree0 Disagree0

Person heads. yes we can't fill a forty thousand stadium now. but if we was in the champions league year after year, we would fill 60. 000 easy. efc have under acheived for years. yes due to money. but the mighty blues will rise again. Gedder

Agree0 Disagree0

One of the reasons we don't fill goodison is because of the poor views in certain areas, why would you pay for a ticket to only see half a game?

Agree0 Disagree0

In some parts of the ground, you can't even see the goal because of the Park End stand roof

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont think its a russian, its an arab called Sheik Eva Bin Had.

Agree0 Disagree0

Talks with Oleg are going very well. If I were you guys I'd be buying my season ticket now

Bill Kenwright

Agree0 Disagree0

Just read on newsnow everton that Kenwright has opened talks with Ukrainain billionaire Oleg Bakhmatyuk and that talks are going well as he is willing to pay the asking price and fund a new stadium. Do you know anything Ed?
Joe EFC {Ed002's Note - I know lots of things Joe.}

Believable11 Unbelievable27

Look at todays date, I think that says it all.

Agree0 Disagree0

It is April Fools Day Guys!

Agree0 Disagree0

I have just read the article. It would be great if true. A Russian Billionaire, 60,000 seater stadium.
To good to be true me thinks, more like a cruel April fools.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just read the story! It is so clearly an April fools day joke! Don't get me wrong I would love it to be true, but come on! Anyway, Mirallas goal was special and match of the days goal of the month featured three Everton goals. All beauties!

Kenwright said he was approached but nothing else if this was serious he should be out telling us boostin players and more importantly moyes!

Barkley is now better than osman - please vote your opinion

Believable19 Unbelievable34

No chance mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

My gran is better than osman. can't tackle no pace, players brush past him with ease. he has quick feet around the box, but rarely comes off. bri

Agree0 Disagree0

Do any of the posters who think that Barkley is better than Osman actually go the game? Osman has been great this season, and Barkley (whether through lack of premiership level match practice or inexperience) misplaces way too many passes every time he comes on

Agree0 Disagree0

"bri" you have clearly never watched a game of football. Ever.

Agree0 Disagree0

Season ticket 40 years pal. tell me what osman offers us. and do you agree with moyes that ossie has carried us this season. seriously. bri

Agree0 Disagree0

If he was better than Osman, surely he would be in the team in place of him, no? Or am I missing something?

Agree0 Disagree0

A tireless work rate in the midfield, a box to box player for 90 minutes, a really good range of passing, never wavering commitment to the cause and of course, goals.

If Leon was at a "bigger" club he'd have a lot more caps. You complain about Osman but the fact is we could use a few more like him.

By the way, did you see that goal against City?

Agree0 Disagree0

IMO ossie has had a good season. he is a no frills player who works his socks off for the team and chips in with a few important goals like last week. he has a few seasons left for us.
Barclay needs a run in the team and if I was moyes I would give him more of a go in these last few games. then I would tell him he will start for us next season. I think he is ready. he just needs a chance to prove it. if rodwell is worth 15mil then this lad will be a 25mill player in the future. he is that good. I have watched a lot of him over the last 2 years. sorry to say but if he gets a run and plays to his potential then you will have the likes of United and chelsea after him as soon as next season. the lad is quality.

COYB

Agree0 Disagree0

Right now, Osman is better than Barkley, but Barkley has the potential to be better

Agree0 Disagree0

I posted the question - interesting to see the replies - good points - thanks

To me Ossie has his qualities but I see him walking around the pitch too much which is not good for centre mid player - and he gets brushed off and past too easily

Barkley actually looks physically stronger around the pitch and he looks busier and hungrier to me

It's not an obvious choice either way but for me I like Barkley if Gibson is behind him doing the safety work as Barkley has got a mistake or two in him still but so has Ossie - just think Barkley looks busier and hungrier

We looked good when he came on vs stoke

Agree0 Disagree0

Granted, Barkley has a physical presence
and his footballing skills are beyond doubt, unfortunately his thought process leaves much to be desired. He is a boy in a mans body, and that, is the problem he still thinks like a boy and because of that he is not ready to be a regular in the EPL
Mike.

Agree0 Disagree0

The voting here is now skewed - it was raising evenly until 18-18 - and now suddenly it's 18-31 - has Ossie got all his mates to vote?

Agree0 Disagree0
