Don't want anything to do with him the guy is a poor man's Roberto Martinez. He plays nice football but is defensively clueless and the last thing we need unless we want to be relegated.

Great shout with the Martinez comparison, play nice football at times, but horror show at the back and seems to only be interested in the attack side.

The club can speak to his agent/ representative without needing permission of his club, so they could have done this, as this is usually the case with players also.

Brian - As stated. Don't shoot the messenger. Afraid reliable so go cheer yourself up with some beans on toast, meanwhile SA or a bloke with a defined style and whose done an incredible job with a tiny club. I know who'd I take. Such a miserable negative fan base. I'm 37.seen nothing in all my adult/ teenage life apart from 1 cup. Get real.

Any team that plays open, expansive, attacking football will be open to conceding more goals. I can remember some fantastic performances under Martinez. How many can anyone remember from this season?

At the very least, Blue79 Gilfi and Rooney both got contenders for goal of the season in Europe and PL. But let's not get too carried away with all the Martinez praise, the man had one tactic and got found out by almost every team in the league. Do miss his positivity though. Some of that would be phenomenal.
