just thought i would say that me and my "comedy duo" partner gandolph both told you all about steve ross a while ago, a deal is close blue fans!! other news coming out of the club is that everton have opend talks with wolfsburg over the possiblity of billy leaving in january, i dont have any figures for that yet though, also we look likely to sign kenwyne jones from stoke for a fee of around £6-7million! That is all :) COYB!! {Ed025's Note - i notice you dont sign your posts?.....at least gandolph can be held accountable..

Surely if we were getting taken over we could do better than Kenwyne Jones? Surely we could get some decent young top quality striker in?

I heard on very good authority that both Randi Lerner and the Abu Dhabi people spoke with Everton before doing deals with Aston Villa and Man City respectively but both were said to be put off by the asking price of (then) £200m.

Ive heard Kenwright droppped to 150 mil and this new yank wants it for well under 120 mil...kenwright will want this sorted (if its true) before Jan transfer window opens cos otherwis he'll hae to spend his own money (arteta cash) so im not suprised if the yank is making him sweat a little ?!? If Kenwright aint at game Wed Gandolph cud just be right crazy as it seems !!

£200 mil to the Abu Dhabi people is peanuts. Your talking BS. BK has admitted if we had a new stadium in place then maybe they would have looked at us. We would have had a new stadium if blue bill would not have Fu**ed up on the Kings Dock stadium, so its his own fault.

I think the big issue why the Shiekhs chose City over us was because they already had the stadium in place, and that is without a doubt the biggest issue concerning Everton at the moment. The price BK can be negotiated but the stadium cannot.

As for Lerner, well they have continually sold their best players, and now he wants the club to cut its wage bill, and are tighten the bolts on the finances. I mean they lost Downing and Young and only replaced them with N'Zogbia and Hutton.

I'd sooner stick with BK than Lerner. The purse strings are certainly being tightened. I do laugh at Villa. Forced to sell their two best players and a manager none of their fans wanted, hence the tens of empty seats now. And look at the way the Indians have f***ed up Blackburn! Yep, it could be a hell of a lot worse. {Ed025's Note - lets see now...selling best players??....empty seats??....manager unpopular with supporters??...hmmmm...sound familiar?

No it was BK who called a holt. He was asked to put uo 30 mil for a share of the stadium. Everton would not have had full ownership of the stadium. Bk wanted Everton to have full control but the other investors said no. It was a similer deal that we have now with our training ground in Kirby. Strange how things come around.

What training ground in Kirkby? I thought Finch Farm was in Halewood? {Ed025's Note - my mate lives i netherley ...and calls it gateacre!....its only geography..dont worry about it..
