. ultra reliable source close to Barcelona has confirmed tonight that 'Yerry Mina' has had several offers from various clubs but that his preference is to join Everton, only problem left is that Barcelona want £27 million for him and Evertons offer so far has fallen short of their requirement.

Got to say Alex1990 think this rumour has everyone excited, I woke up to the news this morning and thought wow what a signing if we could pull that off.
But until I see the player in the blue shirt at FF then nothing is certain.

Hi Ed, a lot of links to Danny Welbeck, apparently we hold an interest and Arsenal are now open to selling him. Probably controversial but I've always liked him despite his poor finishing. Any truth to the interest? Cheers in advance.
{Ed002's Note - I don't know. I am not aware of any approach and it makes little sense to me (his has had a lot of injury issues and Everton have strikers with better goalscoring records already) but Silva does sometimes make odd signings.}

{Ed002's Note - I have explained about Malcom. The situation with Yerry Mina remains two English sides have put offers on the table (one from Everton) and neither are deemed acceptable. Fenerbahce has also made an offer but are now pushing elsewhere and an offer has already been provided by Boca. Barcelona may consider a loan but they must move him on if they are to make the transfers they want this summer. There would be plenty of risks in his moving to England - language, culture, adapting to a very different game, etc..}

Ed, cheers for that. Can we actually expect these signings to be pulled off, or is it just paper talk as such? From your comments it sounds like the Mina one won't be happening.

Do any Ed's know any further information on Malcolm, I have heard a lot of rumours this week and believe we are meeting with the Bourdeux chairman on Thursday but how much of this is real or is it just paper talk?
{Ed002's Note - Malcom has been of interest to Valencia, Bayern Munich and Arsenal - all of which did not see value in the asking price. Spurs have maintained interest but turned to look at other options leaving the player's preferred destination of Inter. The transfer has been agreed in principle but agreement of the structure of the payment has not - and it is dragging on. An offer was rejected by Bordeaux of a loan with an option to buy but Inter will return with a loan to buy offer (as they have exhausted their options with FFP without selling more players for cash). The issue is that they have yet to do so and Everton has taken the opportunity to enquire with his agent. I am not aware of any discussions planned with Stéphane Martin but I am aware that GP is planning on Malcom not being at the club in the future.}

Look like a good deal if we coulda get him over the last one which will be difficult knowing champions leagues sides are watching him. ON the other hand they might be unsure and want to see how he adapts to the prem and may be prepared to pay a higher price in two years time when he was proved himself!
