Hi fellow blue's, i live in Tenerife and work in hotel pool bar, have some information you and the ed's might be interested in.
A guy who claimed he was Aston Villa's head of media his name was Brian informed when he was having a few drinks at my bar that Everton have enquired about James Collins, (centre back at Villa).
Moyes is really keen on the lad and wants to bid for him in the summer, he said it's typical of Moyes who does things properly (enquires way before transfer windows to see if they would be open to offers instead of just bidding without warning)
Apparently Villa would accept a good offer and the lad himself wants to move and he only has 12 months left on his current contract!!
Cheers
Mac... Is that you
Ha both just chilling round the pool bar.! No way {Ed025's Note - i hope not, our defence is sound...get an attacker for gods sake!
Hope not he's s**te
We already have Heitinga, Jags, Distin and Duffy fighting for centre back
Yeah can't see Moyes getting another CB when we have 3 top class CB's and a pretty good prospect in Duffy waiting in the wings.
I think even Moyes knows, with Drenthe gone, and Pienaar only on loan, that wingers are desperately needed.
Firstly I'd like to say that I think Collins is gash, however I can actually see this happening. With Distin nearing retirement and with Jagielka angling for a move elsewhere I wouldn't be surprised if he brought him in. Would much rather Duffy being given another chance though.

Thoughts?

What his price tag
Regarding back up keepers id rather we sold mucha and get whatever we can for him as he is an international keeper to be fair, let hahnemann go but bring in craig gordon on free and maybe if money is spare bring in jack butland and loan him out to championship team
Don't think it gives a price tag but it does say Bayern are interested with 3 others including Everton
Chris
Hahnemann go? I say leave him as a Weir-esque player, to bring a bit of experience to the young lads
Typical Moyes, he can never have enough goalkeepers in the squad.
