I would have it the other way round!

GMBUK

Agree0 Disagree0

When some one says 'you heard it here first', you know it is BS

Agree0 Disagree0

Board meeting arranged for next Thursday, nothing will happen before then

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry mate, Martinez is a done deal

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope and pray you are correct. Big dunc is my hero he, s already a coach at everton and he cares. I hope your right garry

Agree0 Disagree0

This is about the 10th manager to be confirmed i'm assuming one of the guess's that is from a source must be right

According to the kit man at Everton. Davey Weir turned up suited and booted today and was in with Moyes for 4 hours. Could be him in the frame for manager or for going with Moyes to United

Believable10 Unbelievable22

I interpreted that completely diffefently lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would he be in with moyes? if he was going to be our new manager, he would be in with BK

Just been on tv website and Moyes has hinted at a member of backroom staff taking over. Weir, Stuubs and Ferguson are in Moyes' eyes serious candidates.
Joe EFC

Believable9 Unbelievable18

Moyes can keep his nose out as it's nothing to do with him.

Agree0 Disagree0

He's talking of continuity. Its not what we want tho, we want to move on not stay the same. Stubbs and Weir defence minded and Big Dunc an up and at em attack. Its so outdated and not suited to the players we have and all those were talking of wanting. Such a backward step, I pray this doesn't happen.

Agree0 Disagree0

Tell moyes to mind his own buisness its not worth going with someone inside the club. kev the true blu

Everton are the unnamed club to have made an approach for portos manager vitor pereira and he wants atsu to behis first signing, tottenham are interested also

Believable21 Unbelievable8

Really hope this to be Everton

Rich84

Agree0 Disagree0

He would be a good shout would bring a new style to us and he may have some good players up his sleeve, Also the Benficas manager Jorge Jesus is intrested in Everton loved is style of play, Both worth a shout. TAKE NOTE MT KENWRIGHT

Agree0 Disagree0

He should use the fellaini money to buy mangala region of 7m. Quick, french, young, great replacement for dizzy. Also if we get pereira we should buy fer and defour in midfield. Would love to see jackson martinez at everton. Oh my, dream on blues

Agree0 Disagree0

Defour yes, fer no! let's hope it is pereira in charge

Agree0 Disagree0

Do you mean spurs are intrested in pereira or atsu

Agree0 Disagree0

Benitez just been interviewed on a web site and has made it clear that he is up for the Everton job, says it's up to the club and his agent to start talking and sort it out. (Wavertree Blue)

Believable9 Unbelievable27

I would take Rafa all day.
I know some blues can't forgive him for being with the RS but lads, please, look at the other names associated with our club. Martinez? Lennon? Zola? 2 out of 3 have been relegated from the perm and the other is a sunday league manager. Porto guy? We never knew his name till last week! Mackay? Poyet? They would be sacked by xmas. Backroom staff and old boys? A massive gamble that could ruin hero status'. For me if Rafa is interested then snap him up!

Agree0 Disagree0

He said no such thing in fact he said it would be difficult for him to take the Everton job.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes I agree his keen on the job be a great manager look what his won Europa league. European cup league cup fa cup can't get no better than tat

Agree0 Disagree0

17 May 2013 18:14:15
Strange that on a website he rules himself out of the running for the job posted over one hour ago
Irish toffee

Agree0 Disagree0

Listen to the interview, then make your own mind up. It doesn't take a genius to
work out he is interested. (Wavertree Blue)

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't want Rafa, not because of his ties to the red lot, but he needs money to win in this league, heck, he had money at Liverpool and struggled towards the end of his tenure.

His CV is impressive, no doubt about that, and that alone he would make a good manager, but this Everton job requires you to work within a strict budget, and I don't believe Rafa is the man for that.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 May 2013 03:05:12
lads rafa is the way forward an a club like us who are on the way forward is perfect for him ok we dnt have millions which he is used to but he can make us world beaters once again
1. he's got a solid team to start with
2. determination an strave he loves an is good at
3. success every club he joins
4. imagine us winning anything with him incharge would piss the RS off big time lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes he may have got a good CV with cups but look at the mess/squad he left Liverpool with, how long have they been in transition now! He also squandered a lot of money there on average talent which we could not afford. He maybe a good manager, in circumstances where he can go into a team with money to spend and inherit world class stars. If we want to stay ahead of the reds then we can't be looking towards the man who has left them where they are today to do it!

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm with Wavertree blue on this, he'd be a great manager and the what he refers to is that it would be difficult but if all parties worked hard. I don't think that's a closed door on the issue which he could of easily and unequivically said. Reckon it'll be in house myself, which is a shame because Rafa is undoubtably a pragmatic tactician and trophy magnet. Reckon with our squade we'd be in CL spots next year with him! JP

Agree0 Disagree0

To my knowledge we have only ever employed British managers (apart from Mike Walker, who was from Mars), and Moyes has done wonders to take us were he has on a small budget. but maybe we need a bit of European flair to take us to the next level, whether it is Benitez or Pereira. My heart is telling me to keep it in house but my head is telling me we need to look farther a field. but if it was Jesus he would have to sort his barnet out because he looks like
Peter Stringfellow. (Wavertree Blue)

Agree0 Disagree0

This is an interesting one 1. He doesn't rule himself out he says he has a lot of respect for Everton but it would be difficult for him to take the job and it would be difficult for Everton to approach him- in other words it's a possibility. The thing I didn't like about him at Liverpool was the youth set up basically got binned. Think about the players we have brought through if only to sell- rooney and jeffers alone worth near 40 million to our club. Whoever we get it's important to get behind them.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rafa may have bought some duffers when with the RS but he would only have been supported by the board who sanctioned the deals. If anyone is to blame for their mess it would be Queen Kenny who paid well over the odds for established but mediocre PL players. I'd love to see what he can do with a small budget than he's used to and I think it would be a massive test for himself. I'd take him in a heartbeat but I have this sinking feeling the board will appoint from within meaning it will be Stubbs or Weir or combination of the two. BlueTone

An un named premier league club one of which has finished inside the top 6 has tabled a bid for Porto winger Atuso name spelled wrong I think. However Everton were keen admirers of the player and this has led to speculation that Periera Porto manager could be on his way to Goodison and that the African player could be his first signing. Just what I read blues i'm not saying its true but tv have said a club in the premier league have made abid for the player. Stef the blue

Believable17 Unbelievable9

Would love it to be true, could definitely do with another winger with pace in the squad, and since making his debut, Atsu has been good, but can't see it being Everton. Just because their manager has been linked with Everton, doesn't exactly mean we are going after their players. The fact remains, we have no manager for next season, and because we don't have a DoF or an owner who is involved in the football side of things, there won't be any transfer movement whatsoever until a manager is in place, and from the sounds of it, we aren't even close to an appointment.

My bet would be Tottenham would be the club we have put in a bid, they would have the money to bid for him, they also have AVB, who coincidentally gave the lad his debut at Porto I think. So that kind of makes more sense

Agree0 Disagree0

Its Spurs!

Agree0 Disagree0

Hopefully he can bring defour or mangala with him. This guy could be the lead to our next step. Come on BK!

Agree0 Disagree0

Spurs have made the bid mate they've said top 6 because they want them to think its us but it is Spurs

Agree0 Disagree0

Excuse me why would it be Tottenham they have few wingers all ready lol?

Agree0 Disagree0

Apparently Periera to be unveiled as the new Everton manager after the Chelsea game

Agree0 Disagree0

The Ed on the Spurs page seems to think they have an interest, but the bid has come from elsewhere, so make of that what you will.

Agree0 Disagree0

The Porto manager would be very good with mabe Stubbs as his no 2 what you think

Apparently we have contacted Lazio the signing of ogeny onazio.

Believable3 Unbelievable19

That was when we still had Moyes for next season

Agree0 Disagree0

Apparently not. I think the mail are reporting that everton have "proceeded" to contact them. Jlaff

All this manager talk aside, rumours about that we're interested in Christian Eriksen, anything in this Ed?

MikeyEFC {Ed007's Note - No.}

Believable1 Unbelievable22

Haha we wish couldn't afford him and he's going to dortmund where do people find stuff like this, we have a chairman that hasn't supported the best manager we've had for years, there's no chance that he's going to break the bank now!

Agree0 Disagree0

The guy is just posting a rumour one that I have already read so no need to slag him off

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry blues no chance of signing this kid he wants champions league football

The board have identified Zola as the stand out candidate?! we will make an approach after the play off final, regardless of the result! Exciting times!

Good friend at the club tells me Zola is first choice for the board, planning our move now. watch this space!

Believable8 Unbelievable18

Heard a strong rumour today our next manager is vitor pereria. hope so

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope you are right john, he would be a real good appointment

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes John him or the other fella, imagine Jesus as our manager that really would be Devine intervention

hopefully bainesy being appreciated by both us fans and his peers will help him realise how much he is loved and valued at everton and make it very hard for him to leave. also heard fellaini has distanced himself away from a move from everton. would like to keep them both, but given the choice, I would sell sell fellaini every time. who would u guys rather sell? also I mentioned poyet a while a week ago as my first choice. I think he is a very good manager but if he breached his contract in a bad and disrepctful way, I do not want him. my first choice has since changed to the porto guy. from what I am reading he seems like he would be a great fit for our club and a real statement of where our club is at and where we are going. a stubbs or neville appointment will hardly be a massive statement of intent, although I will get behind whoever ends up manager of our great club.

Believable19 Unbelievable3

Lets hope it is pereira, really like the look of him, but do you think BK and the board are that audacious, I think they will go with the safe and predictable option unfortunately!

Zola is main target now, I think he could do well for us. My source was spot on about Jelavic coming and Cahill leaving in the past.

I've heard it too and to be honest thought it was too good to be true.

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance, can you please stop with these ridiculous rumours because there not happening. I know it's a rumour site but come on.

Agree0 Disagree0

I called cahill leaving and jelavic joining, also called rodwell leaving and naismith joing, does that mean I can call the new manager? hell no

Agree0 Disagree0

Toffeemike if you think there is no chance about RUMOURS then either you work on the watford or everton board
