We're not even interested in him, don't know where this rumour came from.

All the Paulinho rumours were posted in very quick succession, probably from the same person. There is absolutely no substance in them.

We have apparently made an early inquiry about Corinthians & Brazilian international midfielder 'paulinhio' according to a website I just read, don't think we could afford him personally, so not sure whether this is reliable info or not, just passing it on.
Believable6
Unbelievable13
Can you post the link mate?
Agree0
Disagree0
Yeah, I saw it on 'www.grandoldteam. com' mate, as I said not sure whether it is reliable or not.
Agree0
Disagree0
I guess it depends on whether we want to put all of our eggs in one basket. He'll be at the top of our transfer funds and we probably wouldn't get many more players in, but 1 players wages will be cheaper than 2.

This is from a very, very reliable source; the same one that told me Martinez would be our manager on the day that Moyes accepted the contract to join United, and that Martinez' appointment would be announced June 5th.
Some of you may have heard that Martinez is looking at an unknown Spanish player. I can confirm that this player is Soldado.
Under contract at a financially sound club, he'd have a valuation of around £20m. However, due to Valencia's numerous problems, we've put in an offer at £10m upfront. There are addons, the majority of which involve qualification for the Champions League. The amount was not properly disclosed to me, but I believe it is in the region of £6m in total.
He's a cracking player. He's a lot like Jelavic in some aspects - he's a finisher. All 24 of his league goals this season came from within 15 yards of each other; all of them being in the box.
If Martinez can pull this off, he's surely hit the ground running.
Believable14
Unbelievable9
I reckon there's a chance you are right!
Agree0

Tottenham are after him, do if it turned into a bidding war I'm afraid we'd lose.
Agree0
Disagree0
Next joke
Agree0
Disagree0
So because he scored for Spain last night he's the new transfer target, would love to hear who these so called 'sources' are. lame
Agree0
Disagree0
We have no chance. Rumours are great but martinez will be looking more towards unearthing another michu type player for a more modest fee.
Agree0
Disagree0
Soldado has said he wants to move to the PL this summer. He has said nothing about going to Tottenham. Remember on transfer deadline day when the mighty tv reported we had bid for Butland, but it turned out that no such bid occurred? Then Stoke signed him, having not been linked to him at all.
This is a goer. Tottenham aren't making any moves until Bale's future is decided. They can't. If he's going, their transfer targets will change. They'll be looking to spend more. If he stays, they'll have to keep it moderate.
You can call it a joke if you want. My source is not wrong. The only way this will not happen is if Soldado rejects the contract or we do a Fer and pull out because he's got a dodgy knee!
Agree0
Disagree0
There are "sources", and then there are sources. Most people can't tell you their source because they don't exist. I can't tell you my source because it cause trouble for them if word got out.
Agree0
Disagree0
No there are sources and then there are sauces
Essy
Agree0

There was talk of this deal acouple of months ago as soldado came out an said he was worried his deal to everton wouldn't go throw because the new manager might not won't him from the beard
Agree0

Wat r your views on this ed any possible truth behind it? {Ed025's Note - not really mate..
Agree0
Disagree0
I believe you mate, what would you like for xmas because santa claus is my dads mates sisters brother in laws great grandad.
Agree0
Disagree0
Would be amazing if true, the man is a different level to Jelavic and he would definitely be the man to solve of goalscoring crisis. Also, Martinez and Soldado are good friends, which surely would help us, if we were after him.
This is where I find it hard to believe, you state that Spurs aren't after him now because of the Bale drama, well are we not in the exact same situation in regards to Fellaini, our hands are tied and our targets will depend on whether Fellaini stays or goes. I can't see Kenwright forking out 10mil+ for this lad. He might have a couple mil to give to Martinez from the TV deal, but don't see it being 10+, besides Valencia can probably get a bit more for him
Hope its true, because it would be a terrific signing, but finding it hard to believe
Agree0
Disagree0
This guy was a Moyes target and he stated in the press in Spain that he is worried that because Moyes has left Everton (10m) this would fall over.
Very old news, with no new confirmation

U2 are considering investing in Everton F. C.
The boys first saw Everton play in 1983 when they were in Liverpool on the War tour and have kept a quiet eye on the club ever since.
Larry and Adam are friendly with Everton chairman Bill Kenwright having produced a few tunes for his stageshows and it is thought that Kenwright has persuaded the members of the band that the club would be a sound investment.

They've rejected an £8m bid? What persons. Only reject a bid if it is for someone. It's free money as you say it as there is no person according to you.
Just joking. But who is it for? I saw it on tv, but didn't see who the player was. {Ed025's Note - vydra..
Agree0
Disagree0
Not sure why this guys post has 4 unbelievables, its on tv, udinese reject two offers from the bundesliga and one offer of 8 million from an unnamed premier league team, doubt its us but you never know, wouldn't mind him and jelavic upfront
Agree0

£8 million for Udinese? That's a poor takeover bid IMO.

I would love this to be true but very much doubt it son, what's your source? ( Daddys I bet ye!)

Couldnt cut it at wigan doubt he'd cut it at us, wages better spent elsewhere, would like to see long given a go rather than an on loan foreign youngster
Agree0

Agree0

Henriquez? Is he new? {Ed025's Note - chilean forward at united..19..
Agree0

Angelo henriquez is a 19 year old forward for Man U. Martinez got him on loan for 6 months from January at Wigan and barely used him.
Agree0

Don't try and be clever, he was on loan at Wigan under Martínez last season actually.

All the youngsters are going to leave, if you don't give them a chance, Moyes was an person, dithering Davey of course.

Agree0

He was never going to get a game with baines, Garbutt and Oviedo
Agree0

Bidwell is a good young player, but a long way down the pecking order for his position (s) - who exactly would Blue nose have dropped to give him the chance to play?
Good young players have left all clubs.
Agree0

Makes sense. He has Baines, Oviedo and Garbutt in front of him and wasn't going to be a first team regular any time soon.

Everton rumours. close to ceo. the transfers of martinez depend on sales. certain to come in (or offered with original kitty). turnball alcaraz on frees. mcgeedy. an one of 3 forward obv depends on fee. now. heitinga is off. but for only 3.7 million. arsenal are close to signing fellaini for the 24.6 million in his contract. liege will basically get around 5 million. then fer diame will replace him. and another forward. scott sinclair an n'zogbia will sign if super kev leave
Believable3
Unbelievable16
Kev won't go anywhere. Diame is proper Felli 's replacement.
Agree0
Disagree0
1. Why would Super Kev leave?
2. Just to clarify - Turnbull, Alcaraz & McGeady + a striker will come in without any sales - the rest are only if Felli / Heitinga & Mirallas get sold?
If that's the case why are transfers subject to sales, or have I got it wrong?
Agree0

N'zogbia? really. not good enough
talk of him going to Monaco anyway

Yea. I do sound a bit negative, but I'm sure in the end we'll manage to grab a few players (a striker to replace Jelavić) and if we keep all the players we will manage to play in Europe next year
Agree0

He'll be looking at Honda, we might be able to get in early with him before anyone else has a chance to speak with honda.
don't think martinez will be looking at anyone from brazil, italy, spain

Usually I'd just laugh at that, but victor went down to London last summer if you all remember to sign for qpr, obviously he didn't, but this could have some truth in it, but is he really a championship player? He's been brilliant all season, scored some important goals, and ran his b******* off while jelavic just didn't look intrested, I'd Like him to stay.
