Hi ed002, just wondering if you have heard if the Zouma to Everton could potentially be revisited in the summer? I understand from below that Everton made errors in their pursuit previously, has this left the deal dead or is it potentially still an option for the player and clubs?

Thanks for the response ed. I think he should be a target as the defence was better with him in it and he is better than most of the CBs we have been linked with.

Question to ed002. It's easy as a fan to read these rumours of players linked to the club and get carried away.
But in your none biased opinion or "in the know", who do you think if any player or players could come to everton. All I'm praying for is a centre midfield player, who has a bit of creativity and pace .
Even on loan, next season hopefully Gomes an Gbamin will return to the players we know they can be, wellcertainly Gomes. Gbamin not seen enough of him yet,

There is no doubt that Gomes fits our midfield creative position very well but not perfectly, perfect would be if he had pace (by that I mean the pace needed at this level) . I am an admirer of his ability never the less.

Sorry another question, although everton are believed to have said sigurdson can go, what's the likely hood of any club being interested in siggy, or schneiderlin based on there wages and performances.
Is the consensus outside of everton that no one rates these payers and would not be interested in taking them on?
It's easy to consumed In the everton bubble as a supporter, but asking someone without blue tinted glasses on givs me a better idea of how the situation is viewed.

{Ed002's Note - Morgan Schneiderlin was of interest to Galatasaray in the summer but Everton rejected a move - if there is interest anyway, and I don't know of any, it will be from Turkey I would think. Again I am not aware of interest in Gylfi Sigurdsson right now. He could look for a return to Germany. But certainly they are available.}

dont know don't think you need outrageus pace to be a fella who drives forward with the ball? fits well for me him being strong and forward.
