Don't understand what successive Everton Managers have against Garbutt, he was doing well for us then Martinez shipped him out. Comes back to us under Koeman and immediately shipped out again. I reckon Wigan have got a bargain.

I've heard whispers of the loan too. Would prefer it that way if I'm honest. Good keeper, yes. Better than we already have, definitely. 20 million and 200k a week. Certainly not. And don't have a go at me 'concerned' about the money. It's in the Everton blood.

I would definitely give McCarthy till January to see if Koeman can get him back to his old self. If not, then let him move on.

I would not take the swap. It was only the first game but McArthy looked the Nats in the RWB role that Koeman seems to have recognised him for but let's see if he picks him again for that position on Saturday. McArthy, Jags, Williams, Funes, Baines as a back 5.

It's mad start or last year rumours for McCarthy arsenal etc. The Irish pundits tear him a new one at the euro's and he's brutal. I think we need to keep him Barry's last season gibbo is not cutting the mustard . McCarthy will learn a heap this season he is a great back up if he can't make the team and obviously flexible to play where's told. McCarthy 2 seasons ago was a beast playing for Koeman has to increase his chances of finding his form.

He isn't suitable are far as I'm concerned. Yes he did well at QPR but he's not scoring as much now, is injury prone and more of a fox in the box than an all out attacker.

I think sissoko is a good player but was playing in a poor side last year the moment when Rafa benitez became Newcastle manager his form started to pick up so if he came to us with ronnie as manager I could only see him be a success don't think ronnie would stand for him not performing look what sissoko did in euros that shows his quality but we still could do with more goals in the team and take pressure of ROM and Ross as the seem to be r only consistent goal threats.

He would be an ok signing for 20m but to break our transfer record 35m i don't think so . and just because the rest of newcastle had a poor season is no excuse for him to hide just shows his character.

I said it yesterday, absolutely no to Sissoko. The man is a disgrace. He thinks he belongs at a title winning team, so would come to us, put absolutely no effort in whatsoever and then as soon as the cameras are on him, play his heart and and angle for a move as soon as possible. We'd be a stepping stone, but he won't even work hard enough for it to be worth it. As I said, I know Newcastle fans who would happily release him for free because he's that poisonous.

Sissoko would be a quality signing. Wouldn't say no, very talented player but didn't show up for Newcastle. He played close to his full potential in the Euros and I think Koeman will get that out of him. Koeman is very good at getting the best out of his players.

Strange one to blame his character though - because that would rule out pretty much our entire squad from Feb onwards.

Sissoko looked superb at Euros and on numerous occasions when has played against us. His power is something we didn't have pre-Bolassie.
Be a good signing for an 'almost' sensible price.

I hated watching our players from 2 years ago that's y i think we need fighters instead of what we have williams will be a good signing because of this sissoko will just sulk like a few we have at the club you have to earn the right to play.

Sissoko had a decent euros playing next to kante. Just saying his style might compliment Gana being in that style.
