i just read the article about the rumoured take over not saying it's true but bill has been unwell lately and he can't go on forever we need a new stadium so maybe he is ready to let go. This chap the head of this consortium is only 41 and has done a great job with kansas and they are now the next big up and coming thing in america also doing well marketing wise. With the new tv money coming in and this sports group ability to push a franchise it could be what we are waiting for but i won't get excited just yet let's see if they turn up on saturday first all i'm saying is this could be a great opportunity for us hope it's true.

he is 2nd generation owner of the kansas city chiefs, a member of the nfl (the other football). And yes a long history with the mls and fc dallas, and with prior north american soccer leagues. A good, steady family business. As far as american owners/investors, everton could not do better. Hunt would not run everton like the sideshows at aston villa, man u, liverppol, and sunderland. Are there any links to this news and rumor?

think it's well time for bill to step aside, but, givern the experince of our friends across the park, american owners don't fill me with confidence. Other than the glaziers, none has been anything like a succsess most looking to bale afder first year or two.

i read this earlier huge american consortium with some big names within the mls being said with a couple apparently going to watch us on sunday, but as stated heard it all before but there certainly would be some cash knocking about if true!
