It's being reported that Manchester United want bainesy to put in a transfer request to help push through a deal, do you think he would do that to the fans that adore him.? {Ed025's Note - i really dont think so mate, its not deffo, but he seems a guy of outstanding loyalty to me..

I honestly don't see Baines doing that to us I don't think/hope he's that type of fella!

Man Utd being all what I hate about football.

I'll just put it this way. My jaw would NOT hit the floor if a Fellaini/Rooney swap deal happened. Moyes & Utd could save face by saying they got £35m for Rooney, (because Felli's buyout clause had lapsed & they valued him at £35m), Rooney would be away from Moyes again & playing at his childhood club, some compromise had been reached on wages etc.
It's not beyond the realms of fantasy & believe me, I have some great fantasies. The one with me, Melanie Sykes & that bird off Emmerdale is a cracker. sorry, just got a bit carried away there! {Ed025's Note - do you meas cains bird tezza?...she is a fox..

Getting so k & tired of the Rooney rumours! R people for real? Get a grip will yer! Also ed u keep saying at least two more. U seem confident on a certain amount? I am presuming u no exactly? Getting bored of all the rumours an no action! Even if we keep b & f I still think we need to strengthen if we want to improve!

Leighton Baines will have to hand in a transfer request at Everton if he wants to force through a move to Manchester United, reports the Daily Mail.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has claimed that United's £12m bid for 28-year-old Baines was a "final offer" and the England left-back will be staying at Goodison Park.

But the Daily Mail understands that United want Baines to push harder for a move before they make an improved bid, with a written transfer request the ultimate way of showing that he wants to leave.

The Daily Mail sports desk been obsessed with Baines going to United for years. Literally. It has been one their main transfer stories for the past 6 transfer windows, in all of which they've been certain that he was leaving. He wasn't.

I don't know if he's going or not (though my suspicion is that he's staying put) but I do know that there is absolutely no point in believing anything The Mail prints about us.

They have already poached our manager now they are trying to unsettle our best player ieven though they are supposedly the richest club in the world don't the normal rules apply to them {Ed025's Note - richest in money maybe...certainly not class..

Starting too get really pissed off with the baines, fellaini rumours. Cannot remember how far back, but Bainsey has been mentioned for quite a few years as going. He could stop all this by saying, he loves Everton and wants to stay, or are Everton waiting for a big offer as well as for fellaini.

A friend of mine knocks about with baines and he really wants to join Man U but will not under no circumstances put a request in case Utd don't meet the asking price as he would hate to upset the fans, so as long as the asking price is not meat be assured baines will not put a request in

This is total crap, he cannot stand moyes, and unless the club push him into a transfer he has no intention of leaving.

Baines will go to Man U, who wouldn't at his stage of his career

It's spreading like fire just had text to say he has been in talks with Nike and kenwright for weeks wages are sticking point it's a long term deal but let's just say it was part of moyes deal that we want rooney but no comments or bidding war he will go for fee of less than Chelsea offered it will come out soon what so rooney ok to play 70 mins for england but not able to be on bench for utd to get game time do me a favour just as the moyes thing it's been going on from day one you can't tell me we should not of got compensation for tapping up and not do anything about it it's been brushed under carpet because of we have rooney coming back {Ed025's Note - hmm

He's not coming back yet. Period! In any case he's not good enough to get in our team, he's a fat, overweight has been and is probably about 42 now, he looks it and plays like it.

The only way I can see Rooney coming to us, is in a panic loan, if United players kick up more of a fuss and the possible damage rooney staying can cause is massive to the team so they loan him out to us, because we do not pose a threat to them even with Rooney. A transfer deadline day loan. This is still very slight, but if Rooney is still adament of leaving and is not getting his head down at United, and no foreign teams are coming in for him, then that may be United's only way out of the situation and therefore may be willing to eliminate the wage stumbling block by contributing substantially to his wages. A loan will either give Rooney a break and he will change his mind over leaving Man U permanetly or, will give United much mure time and oppurtunities to offload Rooney to a team abroad. I'm not saying it is likely, but if things work in a certain way, it is a possibility.

I'm going to schwiiiing me pants big time if we end up living in Wayne's world!

no chance, stop hoping! you can make stuff sound as valid as the 125th version of the bible but it won't make it come true! he's not coming back so stop saying its happening. utter toilet.

Why would nike subsidise Rooney's wages for him to go to a club with less global exposure. I would love it to happen but none of it makes sense.

Don't see it happening myself, and if any move were made I could only see it being with Felli going the other way, which unless we could replace him too would leave us with a bit of a problem.

Having said all that, if it did happen, after having recovered from the heart attack I would be happy enough with it.

How can someone out of contract be tapped up

So let me get this straight . because Manchester United tapped up David Moyes from Everton they are offering us Wayne Rooney on the cheap to buy our silence?

Why would u need to pay compensation for a manager when his contracting was expiring.

He was out of contract the end of June, took up the Utd job on July 1st. Nothin wrong with that. You can't tie him to a chair with a gun to his head. Legally Moyes did nothing wrong, morally it's a different story.

First of all Everton can't afford wazza, two why would we give you rooney because we took your manager who's contract was expiring at the end of june.

For the last time everton would not get compensation but he was still under contract with everton even if it was coming to the end the fact they approached moyes and not made formal contact with kenwright that's the bit that's wrong it's a case of Manchester United saying to bill we want to talk to moyes about being our new manager that's it not ferguson asking him round is house and offering him the job while he is under contract weather he has 1 month or 3 years left on it if bill invited Rooney to his house and offered him to come back with out Manchester United premision then that's tapping up so what's the difference none simple Manchester United are allowed to get away with it

All can breath easy, have spoken to LB last night and he is definitely staying.also states he is not interested in finances and that partnership with Jags is a big factor. Both want to stake claim for World Cup places. Roll on the season.

From what he was saying it looks like we have room for a loan or 2, nothing more. Unless we sell Fellaini for around £18-20m, in which case we'll probably sign McCarthy and get another on loan.

Above poster I don't see any signal to show we will have only loan move. Also even no cash impossible to sell Felli 20m.

I don't quite know what exactly you're saying sitea but I suspect you're saying Fellaini won't be sold for £20m? Why not, nobody was willing to pay £23m so it stands to reason they won't pay any more when, if they wanted him, they could've paid less.
He won't go for more than £23m unless someone is really desperate last minute panic buying, which would leave us unable to buy a replacement.

Just read on another website that everton will now only consider selling MF if a £30m bid is put on the table, I hope this is true, have some balls bill and tell moyes to do one!

Can you really see teams coming in with a 30mil bid when they could of got him for 22/23mil last month, don't think he's going anywhere.
