I hear city have offed us 40m + Bony, know he has not had a great time there, but holds the ball up well, and is a proven prem goal scorer, win win for both clubs and both players but bony's wages might be a problem!

PL experienced striker, good if we play 2 up top. 40 million into a CB, team is better with 2 issues solved. Sign him up, line him up, and let the goals begin.

I think that would be a good deal for us. I always thought he was worth more than £10m though. If he is worth 10 and over then we should go for it.

The Barnsley part of the sale would be 15% not sure how it works with players included though.

Hi Ed to pick up on your point, does that mean that if Stones went for £40m and Bony was valued at £10m Barnsley would get 15% of £50m?

And if there were clauses like another £2m for winning the Premiership with him and say £5m for winning the champions league would Barnsley get 15% of that as well?

That would be a good bit of buisness. Won't need a replacement for Lukaku and have around £40M for a Stones replacement. If the rumour is true that is.

Morning Ed's. Wanted to ask if there is any truth in the rumours of us being interested in/ making an approach for Koulibaly?

See he is linked with a number of clubs at the moment.

A meeting is due to take place today with Napoli, if all goes well John Stones will then be on his way out, only what is been rumoured on Merseyside.

really can't see koulibaly coming to us, would b good, but i think there will b teams playing european football who he may prefer to go to.
