Everton boss David Moyes will demand a player plus cash deal for Maroune Fellaini if Real Madrid make their interest in the Belgian concrete.
The Spanish giants are the latest club to express an interest in Fellaini, with European Champions Chelsea also keen on a deal. Moyes is understood to be reluctant to lose the Belgian but will look to take advantage of Madrid’s surplus of midfielders if Jose Mourinho comes calling.
The Scot privately feels is he powerless to prevent the departure of the 23-year-old he signed from Standard Liege in 2008 but will attempt to use his good relationship with Mourinho to soften the blow with a part-exchange deal. Â The Merseysiders signed left-sider Royston Drenthe on loan from Real for the second half of last term and Moyes is interesting in securing similar deals from the Spanish champions in future.
Turkish midfielder Nuri Sahin tops Moyes’ list of potential swaps. The 23-year-old has endured a miserable time at Real Madrid, starting just 4 times since moving from Borussia Dortmund last summer. Everton will also enquire about Sahin’s Turkish teammate Hamit Alintop, who managed just one more appearance than his compatriot last season.

The only problem that we got with any sort of swap is player wages. I'm pretty sure Sahin would be on big moneeeyz

Nuri sahin is a flair player! full of tricks & flicks, the goodison crowd would absalutly love him, similar to duncan macmagic! not sure were he would fit into moyes philosaphy on playing though!!...

Would love to see Sahin in an Everton shirt, has bags of pace and more vision than Nostradamus. As for Altintop, i think he is off to Galatasaray.
Fingers crossed, just in case!!!

Thanks for the information mate and to be honest if Madrid offer money and sahin, I would be over the moon because in my eyes nuri sahin is one of the best young creative midfielders in the world.

If moyes goes to spurs he might do us a favour and sign baines and felli for £50 mill . kenright from the backlash of the fans would give us all the money to spend ,we will move on ,coyb

If this happens and we get around 12 million plus Sahin i'd take it. Sahin's a central midfielder, creates everything and breaks up play as well. Him and Gibson would be good, also we'd have a replacement for Felli/Arteta and have money to play with, have a look at this video. If he comes i'll be happy

Who would like to see Moyes play fair and if he has no interest tell where to go or if he does want it just say so? Whilst Ive mentioned the same with our players that the press are selling for us why cant the club dissmiss the rumours or issue a hand off. be fair with the fans and tell us straight

Lets have quick decision one way or another. If DM feels he has to move on then lets hear it and move on. I will be really sorry if he goes but let him be warned the other mans grass is not always greener and he will never have the control at spurs that he has at goodison and he will never ever find a chairman who supports him like BK.

Personally think moyes gone complacent at everton let him go with bilic or martinez in

If Moyes does go to Spurs, and I say IF, i'd put money on Martinez being our next manager! He's always turned down clubs like the sh!te because he couldn't have full control but at us he would. Plus he wouldn't even have to up sticks, with Wigan being so close!

Everton are looking at various options across Europe as they await bids for their own players amid ongoing speculation over Leighton Baines, Marouane Fellaini and Tim Cahill.
Without cash from sales they will struggle to bring in the players they want.
Talks are ongoing over Tottenham midfielder Steven Pienaar who is keen to return to Goodison while they want another striker and cover in defence.
Rakitic is a young, skilful player, good at set-pieces and two-footed.
He was key in Croatia's defeat of Ireland on Sunday and links up well with Nikica Jelavic.
A good recruit but money is required first.

Harry Redknapp left tottenham! Can see moyes going, think Roberto Martinez would be a good replacement if that happens. Could Klinnsman get the job and bring Donovan and Dempsey with him? Tottenham should pay atleast 10mil compensation and i can see moyes wanting to keep Pienaar and bring a few players from us to them ( If he Goes ) We can only hope he stays

Just had a chat with a friend who works for Spurs' corporate relations team (I don't know if this their official title, before people start getting pedantic). He reckons it's an open secret there that Harry will be leaving sooner rather than later and that Moyes is the man they want to replace him. I know this is not a knew rumour, but it's the first time I've heard form someone (admittedly tenuously) linked to the club.

Not a rumour as such but i think we may have a little bit of money to spend, apparently we did make an approach for jay rodriguez before he signed for saints. Hes gone for 7 mill and i dont reckon that moyes would have signed him instead of pienaar so im presuming he was looking to spend on top of the money might have for pienaar, which might equate to a relativley healthy budget? Ive got a feeling we might just spring a surprise at the end of this window with a bit of money being spent!! What you reckon eds?

It has been revealed that Everton are monitoring developments with regard to Montpellier striker Olivier Giroud.
The France international was top scorer last season in the country’s top flight as Montpellier won their first-ever league title, but Giroud is being tipped to leave the club with Arsenal favourites to secure his signature although QPR, Malaga and Atletico Madrid have all lodged formal bids.
However, French radio station RMC claim that Everton are also keen although the club have yet to submit a formal bid. Giroud is likely to cost in excess of £10million.

Defour had that terrible injury, think it may have taken the edge off his game. He was great at Standard, don't know much about his form since his move. At one time he was on Man U's radar, AF not a bad judge of a player, may be he dosnt think he is up to the premiership now.

It does NOT say that "Jelavic is looking for a bigger move after the euros".
The reporter that wrote the article on him says: "After taking his club form into Euro 2012 with a goal against Ireland in Poznan on Sunday night, who'd bet against Jelavic getting a BIGGER move this summer."
There is no quote from Jelavic saying he is looking to move on.
The article is online at:
