He's been joining us for the last 40 transfer windows!!!
Where's the picture then?

Is it also true that the tooth fairy, sandman and santa claus are thinking abt 6 months loan. LOL
Where do these stupid rumours surface from riquelme wasnt he in escape to victory

I've heard we could make a last ditch move for Holtby ed, any truth in it?
ToffeeMike {Ed025's Note - no mike..

Didn't Tottenham hijack the G siggurdson deal with Lpool? Look what they got. No-one knows anything about Holtby and I personally think he is another Siggurdson. Just cos it's Spurs people think they have an eye for a player, but c'mon look at Clint D and G Siggy they are awful. They are nothing more than 1 season wonders and I think they have just bought another one. I hope we can get a decent player in this window who works hard and has a bit of class. I would love something like H Ben Arfer. A goal scoring midfielder.

Don't think players are bad just because they haven't settled at Spurs, ahem Pienaar!
Would have liked us to get Dempsey. But then had we got him we might never have got Mirallas.
13 Jan 2013 18:14:46
Heard we are still in for the Wolves striker Liam McAlinden even though he re-signed for 18 months for Wolves anyone else heard anything.
No but i did hear Liverpool in for him

moyes after darren bent
Whose before moyes?
George
Well if moyes is after darren bent im guessing darren bent is before moyes george {Ed025's Note - i like your wit george.. :)
13 Jan 2013 20:11:27
Are we serious about D Bent ED?
I think DM tried to sign him when he was at Charlton
So he does rate him. I personally think he just chose the wrong club and you don't lose your goal touch overnight.
Pablo {Ed025's Note - i cant see it pablo...they would want big money mate..
13 Jan 2013 22:09:46
I've always thought that number 9 was Bent anyway
Thought the "Bent to Everton" rumour was Marcus coming back as a scout or something?
13 Jan 2013 15:38:12
We were never in for Holtby, can you please all let it go?!
Is that you Bill?
ToffeeMike
Haha! Just don't get the obsession! Just because his dad is a blue!!
We should hve been in for Holtby--as a free transfer -if it didn't work out we could sell him for £7m--simple economics--what a wasted opportunity
A wasted opportunity? Just because his dad is/was a blue you assume he would automatically choose Everton? Spurs probably offered him about 4 times much as we could possibly offer you person...that's simple economics!
13 Jan 2013 15:07:40

Vadis will sign this week on loan with option to buy.
13 Jan 2013 11:21:29
Heard of any targets or close deal ed?
Thanks eddy {Ed025's Note - not yet eddy..
13 Jan 2013 11:43:59
Daily mail says that we might sign fernando amorebieta asks will get him for a round £400.000 as his contract expires at the end of the season . Never heard of him before so can't rate him . Etid

Holtby deal could be back on as Schalke want money for him this month. If we put an offer in it will be accepted and this will void Spurs contract agreement .c mon blues get ye finger out and sort it
We can't afford Holtby.....loans only
We would then have to match or increase the 67k per week that Spuds have offered.
Nothing happening here move along
All holtby has to do is turn down any move schake might want money for him but its up to him if he wants to see out the last six months of his contract which will get him more money as there is no transfer fee
We won't offer him 67 grand so why would he come here?
We haven't got the money mate, unless we sell...
ToffeeMike
He chose spurs .let him get on with it.we dont want to be his 2nd choice ....tp.
He's signed a pre-contractual agreement with Spurs, they'd sue the arse off him if he tried to renege on it. Where does this nonsense come from?
We all know Fellaini is off in the summer, so we should have got this lad to replace him. Similar wages but no transfer fee.
For him to come to the blues there has to be an offer or at least an interest!
Can anyone confirm any of these or is the simple link of him being an Evertonian the only link we have?
Surely if Moyse was interested he would have held talks and put an offer on the table, if that met THS offer is a different story but at least the attempt would have been there.
To me there was no official interest and the link of a fellow blue coming who happens to be good was us clutching at straws!
Also what happened to the Milner link ed?
DBEFC {Ed025's Note - i honestly dont know DB...i only relay news thats given to me, i know the aguero injury may not have helped, but dont rule out anything yet mate..
He won't sign, he wants a chance of champions league football.
and any bid put in by everton would be matched by spurs and accepted. then of course as he has already signed a pre contract agreement with spurs......legal ramifications would be insane.
mark {Ed025's Note - why do you think you would have a better chance of CL football than us?..without bale you are a mid table side, if you lose him you will go downhill faster than a fat kid on a slide..
What is this obsession people have with Holtby?!! We were never in for him!!!!
They only want 1.7mil
They only want £1.7m ? Plus the £14m (approx) 4yr contract
And the signing on fee, which is probably not inconsiderable
And he will want £50k-£60k a week....
Ed 25 last 2 seasons running with have had top 4 so yes spurs are a better side to be at, great training facility's and a new ground in the pipeline, your delusional to call us a mid table club without bale {Ed007's Note - I agree with you mate, Spurs would never be a mid-table team without Bale. I would say just above the relegation places, but below teams like Fulham, Wigan, LFC etc.}
Legally, it could happen. Financially it's not impossible (would probably just rule out any other signings and mean shipping out a fringe player). But there's still nothing linking us to a move for him.
Don't mind either way to be honest, wouldn't mind us getting him but don't feel like we're missing out massively if we don't.

Everton rumoured to be interested in Fernando Amorebieta, of Athletic Bilbao, who has 6 months left on his contract. The defender could be available for £400,000
13 Jan 2013 08:24:32
Where being linked with January cut price move for holtby to steal him from spurs can't see it myself
Eddy
13 Jan 2013 07:05:46
Shalke still looking for offers for Holtby, Does this mean we can still put in an offer it was accepted by club and player now..? Would love to have him with Vladis & Fellaini
As far as i undertand it Holtby has signed a pre contrcat agreement with Spurs which is binding-so we have no opportunity to try and hijack the deal
13 Jan 2013 01:38:08
Everton are ready to move for Athletic Bilbao's Fernando Amorebieta.
Norwich, West Ham and Stoke are also tracking the 27-year-old defender, who has just six months left on his deal.
Bilbao are desperate to get cash for the Venezuelan, who would cost £400,000.

Why is it always other teams like them that's always interested!?!?!?
