So, is Rodwell likely? Or just a rumour? And would you be happy to have him back?

If he can be moulded into a centre back, or develop his mental game to be more like Barry, he may have a future, so I wouldn't mind him. For the right price, of course.

{Ed025's Note - the right price would have to be minuscule for me AB..
As always, if RM rates him and can develop him into the player his early promise indicated, then I'd welcome him back. Any player who has the honour and privilege to wear the Royal Blue shirt will get my support - and I expect 100% commitment and application in return.

id take him if they paid us to take him off them and he stayed in manchester and never played for us, i'd welcome him with open arms then!

I'd take him on loan. Let's see what he might offer before spending money. Wages might be a problem though.

. .I see that a rodwell is making a return to us in the summer. . not sure about this one. . although on reflection I always thought his real position would end up in central defense ultimately. . & I seem to remember Alan Hansen saying the same once on m.o.t.d. . thinking back to when jags joined us from Sheffield utd he was a similar sort of player to rodwell then - often playing in different positions around midfield for them but ultimately he has ended up as a centre half & a very fine 1 at that. . so maybe the same for Rodwell? Could be an astute move this. .as long as he stays free from injuries that is. .

Too injury prone I would sooner he warm the bench for $hitty

I suspect that he needed to get away from Everton at the time for a number of reasons - and we did get a good fee for him - but that now he might be more mature and ready to return.
However, I can't help thinking about Francis Jeffers and his return, which just didn't work out.

How can you say that Swan, I wasn't Vic's greatest fan but he wasnt that bad, Rodwell clearly has talent but is blighted by injuries and Stracq was awesome, ok mate he never had that much talent but his heart was huge, he gave us all a big lift when we were down with his passion alone.
Personally I would take Rodwell back for a low price, if he stayed fit and had games he would be a great addition, not sure whether he could actually stay fit though mate

Thought he was very over rated and hyped up by the media during his time with us. Getting 12m off citeh was great business.

I assume this is because Gibbo often finds himself getting lonely in the treatment room. It's quite sweet really.

If Rodwell did come back i'd certainly trust Roberto to get more out of him than moyes ever did and without inhibiting him too.

Do we have more injured players than any other Premier League club?
Our problem is surely that we don't have the size of squad (or quality in depth) that those other clubs have - and that's surely down to finance.

vic was that bad, angell and bakayoko are maybe worse, he is third at best in the worst list, he was fat, lazy, couldn't do anything and was injury prone, terrible footballer, rodwell, for lack of a better world, is talentless, always has been, no pace, cannot pass the ball, always injured, cannot tackle, avoided the ball at all costs so he didn't have to, you know, play! and his reading of the game is, well, woeful, unless he comes free with aguero i'm not interested, even then i'd rather just aguero
