. look like Ossie is deciding to hang up his boots after his latest injury appears to be a career threatening 1 at nearly 34 years of age! Would be very sad news if true, been a great & committed servant to the club over the years & although technically very good has only lacked a bit of pace & upper body strength to be a top top player!

Ed, any noises coming out regarding Fabian Delph? Strong rumours last summer but all quiet now. Contract running out and personally think he'd be the perfect replacement for Barry!

If villa had any interest in taking Barry as part of the deal I would go for it. Otherwise sign him up on a pre contract for the summer.

Think we've already got the perfect replacement for barry at the club with besic, we also have some quality young blood coming through the ranks to help out with cm in coming seasons, the vital place for strengthning this window would be cb and gk for me. Howard desperately needs replacing, as does Distan. one I would never have thought I would have found saying so early due to past accolades, but jags looks like a broken man these days so 2 cb's and a gk would be an ideal window, along with a winger, preferably deloufeu on loan again.

I was going to mention that lee, I believe he was behind subassic (spelling) who has also now been replaced, if you csnt get a game ahead of monaco's 2nd choice keeper. He also looked average at best in the world cup, can't remember any saves in all honesty
