Been trying to reply to this post for ages, but couldn't stop laughing long enough, even fell off the couch I was in such hysterics . Why are people so he'll bend on replacing half our team, let's get behind what we have, and do what we toffees do best - make the most of a bad situation until something concrete happens.
All we need is 4 players if we get taken over:
A good right ( Attacking and Defensive)
Yann M'Vila
Christian Eriksen ( Although he could be moving to a big club very soon, possibly in January )
A world class striker ( I'd love Falcao, but thats unlikley, same with Damaio )

I meant if we get taken over Ed003 {Ed003's Note - I know Breeno, but do you not think even after a takeover you might not be able to match other rich clubs? I dont mean that derogatory, just that the players you mentioned are being linked with big clubs already mate)

I think everyone's getting a bit carried away with this takeover. IF it happens we may nit turn into the next man. City or Chelsea, but more likely we will have 20 mil to spend {Ed025's Note - im glad that you highlighted the word IF

This guy's probably just saying what he'd like to happen seeing as it says 'i hope' at the end...having said that even if we did get taken over this'd be quite unlikely-we could either be the next chelsea/city or we could be the next blackburn (venkys)...
