I'm somewhat confused. com right now - I had been told on good authority last week that Witsel was signing for us, yet all the latest press reports seem to suggest he's going to Napoli and not us. but I would point out that he is currently away on his summer holiday with his family after the Euros and & the media have decided to ignore this and spin a yarn as I've been told again tonight that upon his return from his holidays he will be signing for Everton football club.

Not that I necessarily really want to sign him, I agree with Murf. I have an inkling he's coming. I could be proved wrong very easily. Decent player but if we don't get him I'm not bothered really. Plenty more fish in the sea.

Hopefully we are interested, very good player, quick feet and very strong in possession. Think he's AC Milan bound but would love us to get him, 12-15 million I'd imagine the fee.

We have been linked with a 20mil move for Robbie Brady, good player but steep price at 20mil. I thought he looked really good at the Euros and would definitely improve our squad.

Agree with you all, prices are being inflated due too the increase in revenue. Except when Everton are supposedly selling a player!

As much as i agree that he's not the quality we should be looking at he strikes me as a koeman player. At Southampton he had a mix between workhorse attacking players and attacking players who completely disregard def duties, which we have an abundance of.

The price of players is really silly and players cost more than ever before with the new money. My guess is that £20 mill is last years £10 mill, it is a joke.

I read it was 14m and imo he would be worth that. Play 3 at the back with Coleman and Brady wing backs gives us lots of options can play left midfield, left back or even centre so a great addition to the squad. Another good Irishman the next sheedy please God 🇨🇮.

Brady is good and will become a top talent. He will play in any position he's told great shot and cross on him. It seems every player has taken a 30 percent rise In Value. He's probably good value at 12 million. 20 is like what we done to keep lukaku here. Still it's great having the ability to over spend loads a money!
