How was the hospitality Ed25? What did you think of the new stadium?
{Ed025's Note - absolutely top notch BR, the support staff were excellent and made everyone feel welcome, i went early and had a long look all around the stadium before and after the mach and had a couple of pints on the plaza before heading off to town, it was an unforgettable day and if im honest a bit surreal mate..

Glad you had a good time Ed. I’ve only driven past before it was open so yet to make it up for a game. Give it time.
{Ed025's Note - you need to do it mate, its much more than a game BR, its a football experience..
08 Nov 2025 14:02:07
Really pissed of with that team selection me garner should be rb obrien should be center back with tarks aznou should be left back then royl an kdh give gana a rest then have grealish an dibling on flanks with alcarez behind ilman ed 025 I hope you have a good one today mate with it being you're first visit I respect moyes for what he's done but these owners are no mugs.
{Ed025's Note - i had a great time Andy, the stadium is amazing and of course winning was the icing on the cake mate..

You mean ‘for what he is doing’?
The team selection that pissed you off put 5 in the net. 2 stood, 3 probably should have and we got a clean sheet.
We’re better off after 11 games than we have been in the past few years and progress is what we have all been looking for.
David Moyes is no mug.
This post proves it’s best leaving it to the staff we have in place. I understand we all have an opinion but we don’t see half as much of the players than they do.

I was adamant Barry wouldn't make a player but there is one there. Dewsbury-Hall came good today aswell, seemed to me he was playing from deeper (his prefered style) as well. Wrong about Grealish today also, came in more from the flanks and was excellent, such a pity he can't shoot for toffee, strange that with his skills.
They all played well. Good result against Sunderland as well as it happens. Baffling why we were off it against Spurs. Onwards and upwards.

If he brings in others to score I don’t personally see an issue once he buries a chance more will follow. His demeanour is of a pee’d of bloke but hey guys let’s not judge a guy in a new country and league to harshly, he put a shift in today and the fans appreciated that.
08 Nov 2025 23:54:42
Seemed to do more of the basics better today but that should be the base line for every performance imo. I get that scoring goals is not easy and when attacking players don't do that, you expect them to make up for it in other areas, which neither of our lads have been doing.
That free header he missed off a great ball in was another clear of example of the lack of finishing quality though. Quality chance squandered again.
It isn't hard to look better than his previous performances. Still nowhere near good enough imo.
09 Nov 2025 00:25:48
I really don’t think today was a case of people overestimating his performance because it was an improvement on past games.
I genuinely think he played really well today, that performance is levels above what DCL was doing for 2 years when fans wouldn’t stop harping on about how “he offers more than goals”.
If Barry does that performance every game, goals will come.
09 Nov 2025 07:03:55
All about confidence the lads getting just needs a goal. But how often have you seen foreign players taking a season in the Prem before they click.
09 Nov 2025 10:31:47
Was he not offside for both our goals, missed a sitter with his head, tackled himself on the wing and faked a neck injury - must of watched a different game - same as Beto - tries 100% but ultimately hopeless in front of goal.
09 Nov 2025 10:34:52
Only thing about Barrry that needs stamping out is when he does something wrong, he hits the deck pretending he got fouled or is injured. But he was much improved footballing wise yesterday.
09 Nov 2025 10:51:00
Firstly it wasn't a sitter, and Ndiaye was offside for the first goal. Fortunately the fans at the game appreciated the effort the lad put in. Unlike some who just want to pick fault.
09 Nov 2025 13:16:42
Whilst it wasn't a sitter, it was a very very good chance to score. He had no defender impeding him, could see the cross from the moment it left Nidayes boot. He should have scored or at the bare minimum forced a save from the keeper.
He is a professional PL footballer, getting paid tens of thousands of pounds a week Brass. For that reason alone, he should be putting effort in every single game.
Definitely did more of the basics better yesterday and his work rate was much improved but nothing more than that.
09 Nov 2025 15:00:42
Brasington - not criticising- just being realistic. We have gotten to used to watching mediocrity that someone who tries his best should be praised - that should be guaranteed.
He seems so uncomfortable with the ball and such a unnatural finisher that he is going to be very frustrating - same attributes as Beto
You could sign any big lump to hold the ball up but surely we’ve got a move on from this to find a striker who is going to get 10 to 15 a year and that is neither Beto or Barry.
At least he is young and may get a bit better.
I got the same response last year when criticising Beto, but I don’t hear many people calling him to be first choice now.
He scored 55 goals in the last 4 seasons so I hope I’m proved wrong and he turns it around as seems a nice bloke.
09 Nov 2025 15:45:57
They all do it dentielad, ever tripped up and accused the ground.
09 Nov 2025 17:34:08
Sometimes dmsblues but I should really blame the Jd and coke for that lol.
10 Nov 2025 09:38:02
???.
08 Nov 2025 22:42:55
Spuds, along with many others are reportedly "intereseted" in signing Ndiye. Offer him a new and improved contract now. If he declines, move on quickly and source a replacement now. Bank the £80m tranfer fee.

09 Nov 2025 00:26:54
Ndiaye should be aiming a lot higher than Spurs. Minimum for him should be a champions league potentially winning side. Not a team that, based on performances this season and not results, will be lucky to finish top 8.
09 Nov 2025 07:04:43
Lads going nowhere.
09 Nov 2025 07:25:45
Hope so BMD. He’s a class act for us and not sure he could easily be replaced.
09 Nov 2025 09:10:06
Spurs nearly got relegated last season don't think they be far of going down again come the end of season why would skillyman leave everton to go into a relegation scrap and live in a place like london.
09 Nov 2025 15:37:48
I noted that Spurs are interested along with some of the big clubs. I didn't say he was going there.
Unfortunately, we aren't a regular top 10 club; haven't been for years. Offer him an improved deal to see his reaction. If his head is being turned by the attention, the club should know.
09 Nov 2025 19:46:33
Erm we are not a club that has to sell players to survive anymore.
08 Nov 2025 21:59:56
Our current points per six games is 8. Based on that we will have 50 points and 12th to 13th place at the end of the season. We need to up points per six games collection. We are hopefully going in the tight direction to do that.

Bit harsh on us for the 1-1 draw. 2-2 96th minute and deserved against currently best side in the league.

09 Nov 2025 07:06:18
No we should have won that game. We didn’t because second half we were bloody awful.
09 Nov 2025 07:50:15
Tried to put that over BMD. We were critical of us getting 1-1. Look what they just did against Arsenal. They did say lucky against us.
08 Nov 2025 17:14:23
Thought everyone played well tbh, special mentions for Keane, Tarkowski, Garner, Gueye, KDH and Barry.
Barry has took some stick, he's frustrated, he's a character, but he was excellent today. Shame he didn't get a goal, but his general play was exactly what we needed, hope he keeps this up and the goals will come.
And, we all have opinions, but if you don't think he played well, you don't understand football, or you have an agenda.
Special mention for Calvin Bassey too today, built like the hulk but spent all game on the floor crying about nothing.

Thought he showed promise Swan, some better touches and hold up play. Something to build on.
08 Nov 2025 17:59:50
Yep agree mate have given him a load of stick myself, but to be fair he did well today best I’ve seen him play and reckon he warrants a place ahead of Beto.
08 Nov 2025 18:36:19
Would have been nice to give Dibling some minutes today, especially when we got the second.
08 Nov 2025 19:09:30
Okay fair enough on Barry, flapped and too enthusiastic if anything. Needs to relax and just maybe we will see why they bought him. The other B apparently DM is waiting for the second half of the season.
08 Nov 2025 19:13:07
Incidentally 75th minute 1-1 Sunderland Arsenal and Sunderland scored first.
08 Nov 2025 19:41:13
Dare I say can see why Grealish isn't in the England side. If he carries on would still back Everton to buy him but hopefully negotiate the fee.
08 Nov 2025 21:25:17
I thought Grealish played well today
As for the England squad, I don’t pay it any mind, the manager still picks Gordon who has been poor this season, Henderson who has been average for Brentford at best and Quansah, who, is arguably not even a top 10 English centre back.
08 Nov 2025 21:28:00
Message to barry keep watching them old dvds of duncan ferguson that's how to play for the famousEFC thought barry was excellent today.
08 Nov 2025 21:44:05
Well Barry played much better today than he has previously but the jury is still out on him. Maybe if Moyes just stuck with him for a while instead of chopping and changing with Beto it would work out with him but a center-forward has to score goals and he isn't.
09 Nov 2025 00:29:38
That’s what we want, let him stay in the team and build relationships with the players around him.
A centre forward does have to score goals but Barry CAN become that, he missed a good chance today, I put that down to confidence rather than quality.
We’ve had 1 elite striker in my lifetime (1998 onwards) so I don’t think we can expect that level.
09 Nov 2025 07:11:14
I’ve seen a few elite strikers play for us but then I’m old. The best thing that happened to Barry today was the reaction of the supporters when he was subbed. If the lad needed a boost in confidence then he got it right there.
09 Nov 2025 09:51:15
I was brought up watching players like Dave Hickson and Alex Young. They scored goals from a distance not just tap-ins. I like every one else was very happy with Barry's performance today but I want to see him shoot more, get his head to more crosses, he is a tall lad who needs to be more aggressive.
08 Nov 2025 14:20:43

Thing is we wouldn't get him cheap if at all, then there is wages.
08 Nov 2025 18:37:31
I know mate but him up front instead of what we have, he needs to play to get his place in the Brazilian side would give his all for us no Brainer, we could be a top six Team I reckon.
08 Nov 2025 18:43:58
Cant see spurs wanting him to go.
08 Nov 2025 18:56:31
My mate is an avid Spurs supporter and think they will let him go in Jan because of his mood swings, he’s just not happy there, bring him home, Everton would be excellent for player and Club.
08 Nov 2025 21:05:39
Have to disagree with richarlison. don't get the hype never have done never will, nothing against him at all but no legend to me.
08 Nov 2025 23:08:46
Witty i fully agree he is not a legend. A few recent players are but not him. I loved his passion and skills. He's loved here and he loves us clearly from recent actions. I'd be made up with him back. Rumours spurs are confident on toney (honestly don't believe we could get him) and will ship richy off.
Also hearing we may look to sell beto (few Italian clubs may be interested) and Replace him. Richy, a new striker, sell beto and that's amazing. Bonus for me would be selling mcneil (come on dyche! ) And then bring in a right back (would love someone who can play either but not sure there's many about.
08 Nov 2025 14:17:44
Strange line up today could be his downfall if we lose this one,3 points is a must for us.
